Called here for lunch on spec - quiet day but excellent service and good food overlooking the Marina. Wide range of dishes and we were pleasantly surprised by the sophistication at lunch time. Worth a visit.

It would be difficult to find a better location looking out across the harbour towards the mountains - pre-book a table on the harbour walkway edge if you want to have the best view.
Ate here twice - once in the evening (food and service was excellent, staff friendly), and once for a group paella for lunch. Both sunny, warm days with excellent tasty food, mid price range (but good value for money).
If you find yourself in Port de Soller - or fancy a tram ride out of Soller to the port (El Pirate is v close to the tram stop) then eat here.

Not an extensive tapas menu but a good variety of dishes. My wife cannot eat garlic and they changed the preparation of a couple of dishes to accommodate her. Toasted goats cheese and peppers was the star.

Enjoyed a very nice evening with family at EL Pirata.
We had decided to take our Son out for a meal and watch the sunset harbourside.

The restaurant has two parts, the Main building is across the street with a bar area and some inside tables (mainly set up for couples). The second part (and larger part) of the restaurant is harbourside.
Contrary to other reviews, we enjoyed great service with the waitress speaking good english and of course Spanish too.
We enjoyed a selection of Tapas, Lobster soup, (do not expect a large bowl of soup, the soup comes in a mug sized glass. I also enjoyed a Rare fillet steak cooked just as I ordered it and enjoyed a banana flambe desert with coffee.
It was a perfect evening, great weather and as the sun dropped there were blanket throws available for the guests to use if you did feel a slight chill.
