“One of our most beautiful holidays”
Reviewed 22 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The house was very beautiful and very characteristic. We loved the old architecture and style and of course the pool. The service was also very good. The only thing not so good was that there were not enough towels and water glasses in the kitchen.
Altogether we felt really comfortable and we had a wonderful time staying in Pollenca.

“An authentic Majorcan experience”
Reviewed 25 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

If you are looking for the quintessential Majorcan holiday away from the touristy hotel scene, don’t hesitate to book this charming and comfortable villa just a short walk from the picturesque village of Pollenca. This property is an ideal choice for either a family or a group of friends who want an environment where they can spend time together enjoying the Majorcan countryside, yet have access to the many unique attractions of the island.

As advertised, this well-appointed home features four bedrooms (two doubles/two twins -doubles appeared to be queens) and three modern bathrooms (one bathroom is accessible from an outside courtyard entrance located just off the kitchen). The kitchen has all the tools needed to either prepare an entire meal or to simply enjoy a glass of wine with the delicacies purchased at a local market. A dishwasher and washing machine are also included. Outside amenities include a sparkling pool, grassy area with badminton net and equipment, BBQ area with a built-in barbecue, and an inviting terrace area at the front of the villa that is nicely furnished for lounging and al fresco dining.

The interior of the villa is spacious with several common areas designed for reading and relaxing. With two bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor, privacy is assured for all guests. The primary common area located adjacent to the kitchen offers a flat screen TV and excellent Wi Fi access for those who need to remain connected.

When you are ready to venture out, take the 20 minute walk into the village of Pollenca. Enjoy freshly baked croissants and sweets in the morning, or sangria and tapas in the evening at one of the many lively open-air cafes. If you are there on a Sunday morning, don’t miss the terrific Farmers Market which features an amazing array of produce, olives and cheeses, as well as crafts and souvenirs.

The Port of Pollenca is also nearby. A 15 minute drive will bring you to a bustling waterfront with many dining and shopping options. If you want to purchase Majorca pearls without leaving the general area, the Port offers the best selection at competitive prices.

There are numerous other day trips to beaches and attractions that are easily accessible from the villa. In fact, our villa hosts provided very helpful information with suggestions on places to go and restaurants they recommended.

Our hosts also graciously left us a “welcome gift” of wine, tea, coffee, cookies, milk and chips, which was much appreciated after a long flight. The only suggestions we would offer for improvement would be having a few extra beach towels on hand as well as a few citronella candles, as it can be a bit buggy.

Great property, great vacation. Will continue to highly recommend the destination and this villa in particular.
