Set in glorious alpine scenery this hotel offers comfortable accommodation for those willing to follow the long, winding - and quite spectacular – road up to this location.

For those lucky enough to secure a mountain-facing room (worth the splurge!), the rooms with balconies provide stunning views of the Logarska Dolina mountain range. Unfortunately such viewing was not possible in our case as we happened to visit during what could best be described as a September monsoon! We could hardly see a thing apart from the tumbling waterfall that cascades down behind the hotel.

The rooms are modern, not overly spacious and a bit cluttered, with bedroom and sitting areas separated by a curtain. The furnishings, however, are good quality. There is not so much a bathroom as a bath corridor with basins, toilet and shower in separate rooms/compartments.

Whilst the dinner provided in the restaurant was surprisingly good, the breakfast was disappointing. Beware things shut down here early – everything had closed down well before 10pm.

Dear guest, thank you very much for your comment. We are happy that you liked our valley and hotel. When it comes for the food we are proud to say that less is more. We offer as much as possible local and fresh food. Quantity is not our aim.

The location is great. The valley is really beautiful and if you are lucky to get a room with the view amazing. The rooms are modern, very nice. The food wasn't something to recommend. The people are very sympatic and pozitive.

This hotel was very interesting. It was ultra-modern. The room was actually quite small but well designed. There were curtains dividing the room into 2 areas and covering the bathroom, both of which were unnecessary, only making the room seem smaller, however they could be left opened so they weren't an issue. The shower was great. I found the bed too hard but that is purely a personal preference. One thing which I found very annoying was the tiny bedside table. It was trendy looking but uselessly small. We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the valley. Dinner and breakfast were both good and the staff were friendly. There was no tea or coffee in the room. We would happily go there again.

Room tip: ask for a room with a valley view

We have stayed at this hotel several times before and always had a room with a view down the valley, which is stunning. This year we booked later and had to have a room with a side view. The room had been recently renovated but it was small. Evening meal arrangements are odd. We had half-board and on two nights our meal was served to our table by a waiter as you would expect at a hotel of this class. But on the other two nights there was a self-service buffet. Does the hotel want to run a proper restaurant or is it catering primarily for tour groups? This is an expensive hotel but probably worth it if you can get one of the larger rooms with a valley view. Otherwise, perhaps not.

Dear guest, thank you for your comment. In the past two years we renovated whole hotel. Hotel rooms are not changed in size, since we are located in Nature park, where is prohibited to build or extend buildings. We are happy if our guests give us feedback for our service and we will consier your comment regarding service of dinners.
