We have stayed at this hotel several times before and always had a room with a view down the valley, which is stunning. This year we booked later and had to have a room with a side view. The room had been recently renovated but it was small. Evening meal arrangements are odd. We had half-board and on two nights our meal was served to our table by a waiter as you would expect at a hotel of this class. But on the other two nights there was a self-service buffet. Does the hotel want to run a proper restaurant or is it catering primarily for tour groups? This is an expensive hotel but probably worth it if you can get one of the larger rooms with a valley view. Otherwise, perhaps not.

Dear guest, thank you for your comment. In the past two years we renovated whole hotel. Hotel rooms are not changed in size, since we are located in Nature park, where is prohibited to build or extend buildings. We are happy if our guests give us feedback for our service and we will consier your comment regarding service of dinners.

The hotel looks stunning; however, the rooms are completely disfunctional. Passageways in the rooms are so narrow you can't open a closet til you close the bathroom door! The sink is across the room from the toilet: there's no mirror over the sink: there are no blackout shades on the windows; the towel rack hangs over the sink; the hangers on the closet (whose door is impossible to open unless you close all the other doors) are backwards. Everything is a hard surface so the noise reverberates throuout the hotel. When I called the front desk to ask them to tell guests to speak more quietly in the lobby bar, they ignored me. Food is fair. For a hotel that presents itself as being luxurious, it is terrible!

Plesnik Hotel is the gate of the Logarska Dolina Valley.

Rooms are renovated in a very innovative way, they are so spacious and comfortable.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

The outdoor swimming pool has an amazing view, adjacent to a fireplace.

Lovely location set in a valley looking up at Stone Mountain. Modern well decorated rooms. Very relaxing spa: saunas, loungers on ground level, walks out onto a spring fed pool.
Dinner was buffet style the night we were there. Nearby hikes to waterfalls.

This hotel is a good spot to spend a couple of days. The main building has been remodeled and is quite plush. The annex building is just a step above camping. Like staying there in the '50's! They have new bikes to rent and a wellness spa. The spa is only OK. The jacuzzi is bubbles rather than jets but the sauna is good. The massages are not my style. If you like a lot of oil and fast rubbing, then definitely go. It is a nice break after a long day of hiking and biking.

We were in the large room 208 and it was great!
