We had stayed here before with a group that comes back each January so we returned this year on our own. It was as great as we remember it and it looks like the new owners are very much on the right path. (To clear up the confusion, this used to be known at times as the Seefeld Dorint and other times the Seefeld Falkensteiner. It was bought by the Krumers group in autumn 2016 (which also operates Krumers Post and one other hotel in the center of Seefeld). It opened in its new form just before Christmas 2016). We signed up for half pension (great breakfast and very nice dinners). The new owners inherited the great spa and indoor/outdoor pool area and rooms (on the view side of the hotel) with the great mountain views. They also got some older infrastructure that they are addressing. For example, our room safe had problems and they promptly replaced it. Our room did not have enough convenient receptacles for charging devices and using laptops.

Many of the dining room staff are young and new but bright and eager to please. We suspect they will come up to speed quickly.

It is next door a ski area, and a 10-minute walk to down and the train station (probably 15-minute walk back!) But it all looks very promising. We'll be back!!

Room Tip: Only get a mountain view room (looking over the indoor-outdoor pool to the mountains)

Although we have spent only one night, we had the chance to try wellness facilities and the dining in this nice resort. The restaurant is nicely renovated and the buffet dinner and breakfast was delicious. As soon as the rooms are renovated, it would be excellent.

Room Tip: don't get a room next the elevator, it is quite noisy

I took my wife for a short ski trip and as we only had two days location was key. Ski lift is a two minute walk from the front door so was ideal.

The hotel itself was great. The spa was lovely, clean and really helped relax after the days skiing. The room was spacious and maintained really well.

The food had fantastic variety and the buffet was changed regular so the food was always hot. There was a bar with an open fire and table service which was a lovely touch after having a full belly from food.

Would certainly recommend for couples

We stayed here in March, the rooms are a little dated but overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The spa facilities are great. The breakfasts were really impressive, the best breakfasts on our tour through Switzerland and Austria and Germany. Staff were great too. If returning to Seefeld we would certainly consider staying here again.

This resort is nicely located 200 meter from the snowlifts. Ski area is not to big. Ok for just a few days. Mostly blue slopes, some red. Resort is About 15 minutes walk to city center, which is pretty touristic, so one visit is enough. Super relaxed SPA area. Great breakfast buffet. Good size room, bathroom a bit small incl toilet. That is about the only negative point. We were two days late because of a funeral. Booking was non refundable, but the manager offered us extra days to stay, which we could not and than a free dinner instead. That is how you make your guests come back! Looking forward to our next visit.
