After 13 years, the Phulay Bay Ritz Carlton Reserve still looks just as gorgeous as the day she opened her door to the world. Other some dead giveaways such as very limited power sockets in the villa, nothing actually says this resort has been around for more than a decade. The architecture still look on point and couldn’t be even more relevant in today’s digital world. The stunning look of this amazing property is every Instagram owner’s perfect setting for the next viral post. The Moroccan-inspired villa comes with two generous balconies, a spacious bedroom with a huge bed and a to-die-for bathroom! Frankly, the impeccable service easily compensates the flaws in the villa. Like I’ve said earlier, the limited and often out-of-place power sockets is such an annoyance. While I understand the idea of staying true to the Moroccan design concept, I’m not a fan of the ceramic bottles of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower cubicle. The walk-in closet is also a little tight in space. The breakfast buffet has a varied selection of international and Thai cuisine. I would have eaten more if not because I’m watching my weight!
