We travel Bagan during the peak season so the hotel price is maximum. The hotel ground is very spacious and big. They serve welcome dinner during the first night which is not so tasty but ok. The hotel rooms are individual bungalow which I think is made of trunk of palm trees but I am not sure. So the decoration is quite unique compared to others. I find some small bridges as part of decoration and when I look down the drainage systems is not good and there are some still water and garbages and leaves. The hotel bed room is not very spacious and there you will find some Myanmar traditional snacks. The hotel staffs are helpful and one of the staffs guide us during our visit. Simple breakfast.
Overall it’s good hotel.

The place is quiet and cozy. The customer service is really good, they even gave complementary dinner on the first day of arrival and the bed and room was well decorated for the couple's honeymoon package at no extra cost. The rooms are individual houses constructed with mostly natural items like wood. The room has air conditioning, hot and cold water shower is available too. The chief receptionist, Ms. San San Oo, can also help to make arrangements for the sight seeing tours or e-bikes. They also have bicycles for rent at the hotel itself and they can even help to arrange for e-bikes upon request. Although one may visit the pagodas on their own, I highly recommend requesting the staff for a local guide to let you know about the history and hidden gems. The laundry service is affordable and is fast (within a day), and it would be very useful for visitors on a long vacation. It is best to visit Bagan during November till February, which is winter season here. The friendly staff here would go out of their way to help your stay more enjoyable.

Went with about twenty other people for a school trip, and the staff were exceedingly kind despite the inefficiencies that we may have caused them. The place is lovely, and the food is also good! Also a great place to stay in if wary of earthquakes, since the rooms are all one storey villa-ish accommodations.

Me and my wife stayed at Kaytumadi for 3 nights on our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Myanmar.

The staff were consistently helpful (above and beyond the price tag of the hotel) and spoke excellent English. They knew what we wanted before we did and made everything very easy.

The individual bedrooms are a nice idea - offering privacy and are attractive from the inside and out. The room was very clean with consistent warm water and good air con. Free water was provided daily and drinks were offered upon arrival.

We were provided with a complimentary welcome meal which was very pleasant and we were waited upon very attentively. It’s worth noting that the drinks are not complimentary but as it’s a free meal you can’t complain.

Breakfast outside was lovely each morning although stay away from the pastries which are very dry.

As others have said, the location isn’t fantastic but we just hired some e-bikes for about 8000 kyat per day and got around without any problem.

I would absolutely recommend Kaytumadi to anyone as you won’t feel more like a member of royalty anywhere!
