It is just before you hit town and boy did they convert our dear old African huts into class. From afar you would think its one of the many but from the inside the view is splendid. Good food service. A bit lacking in the number of employees in customer service which led to the few available being overwhelmed, even though they delivered and impressed. Fair prices and they catter for people of all financial backgrounds and walks of life.

We were tired from a long trip and were looking for an overnight rest place in Gweru . The village lodge gave us that rest.
Good dinner in a thatched restaurant, Chinese food also available, sadza too. The heater in the dining was a plus in the cold area of Gweru.
However because of the bar we were disturbed just after midnight when people were making noise past our room . We concluded the people were coming from the bar.
Was my first time to stay in the midlands and I highly recommend this place to anyone whose in need of accommodation. The service that I got was 100% throughout the duration of my stay. Keep it up team village lodge #theSuburbanVillage

Safe parking spaces and a tranquil environment
First time and check in took very long the person that took me to my room didn't have keys had to wait while she went back. Rooms are ok though a bit dark. All essentials are in though tv, fridge. Staff are helpful though. Sleep quality ok too
It was a business trip , where I had to spend the greater part of my time in the conference room . The environment is good for conferencing . And there are very spacious rooms for individuals , family and couples . It is very accessible very close to the Harare - Bulawayo road . You can get there easily by public transport and your own transport .
