We turned up to this restaurant on a Monday for a late-ish (2pm) lunch. Unfortunately, the staff and chef failed to turn up.
We asked for an outside table - and were helpfully directed to one when it became free - but from then on we were ignored for the remainder of the meal, and when asking for assistance we were met by either an inconvenienced grimace or a vague (and unexecuted) response, from a mix of different staff members.
The menu looked pretty nice - I ordered the crayfish. This came out cold. As did everybody's fries. Perhaps they had mixed up the temperatures with the Sauvignon Blanc we ordered - warm.
I also ordered oysters - these did not arrive. They were not on the bill, but when pointed out to the manager (or excuse for one), he said "ok", nothing else.
The meals - although not overly expensive (not much is in SA), were (given the quality we experienced) overpriced I felt.
All I can say is that we were lucky the view of the surfers was interesting, otherwise this would have been a totally unenjoyable experience.
