It’s tough to mess up breakfast and Polka makes no mistake. My eggs were soft, the bacon crispy and the frittata my partner ordered comes hot in a skillet with ingredients of your choice. Service could be faster but it is friendly and the food is great. Good stuff to buy in bottles too, and the nearby mohair store worth a visit.

We stopped for a light snack and coffee. The vegetable soup was fantastic as well as other dishes ordered. Great service

Lunch at Polka was very cosy and warm on a cold, rainy day, with good service and atmosphere. The food we chose was simple, but delicious and served with a smile.

Our friends told us it’s a must. We were happy to give it a try. They had streak and lamb and enjoyed it very much. As we weren’t so hungry we tried the tomato soup, haloumi salad and risotto - all disappointing I’m afraid.....risotto too creamy, haloumi too salty and the tomato soup just didn’t taste nice unfortunately... The vibe seemed nice, there was a nice fire going and the service was pleasant. No bread service but a big variety of cakes and sweet foods. I think this would be better as a lunch place actually...worth a visit.
