The hotel is in the centre of Gondar but extremely noisy especially as the mass starts at around 6am and is on loud speakers! The rooms were ok and fairly clean but the bathroom had hardly any shower water and never hot, I had to change rooms as the first room had no water at all coming from the shower. The dining room is like a cafeteria but the food was ok nothing special but edible, apart from the morning porridge which resembled watery gruel! Wifi only works in the lobby area and then not all the time. I found the reception staff very helpful though in helping us to arrange transport and changing my room. Be careful if you get washing done as all mine came back wet so make sure you say you want it dried! They have a terrace overlooking the centre square where you can have drinks or coffee which is quite pleasant and a courtyard with tables and chairs. Overall an ok hotel as there isnt much choice.
