We were lucky enough to find this amazing location on a recent trip to Vanuatu and Aore Island. On arriving at two canoes you are not only greeted by the special location and design of the resort, but you are made to feel welcome by Mark and staff.

We had been staying at a nearby resort and unfortunately for us only found two canoes on our final day on Aore Island..If we had found the location earlier we would have left our accommodation and stayed at two canoes, where we were made to feel so welcome and were looked after even though we were only there for the day.

Mark arranged for us to be picked up and dropped back to where we were staying as we had a two year old with us. On arrival Mark had set out some beach toys for our daughter, He also offered us one of his bungalows to use if our daughter required a nap through the day, nothing was made to feel too much. Our daughter played continually on the beautiful beach and in the warm water out the front of the bar / dining area.

Its hard to put into words how welcome we were made to feel and how great Mark is as a host. I dont often get to relax fully, even when on holiday, yet two canoes had me relaxed on arrival. i cant thanks Mark and his staff enough for the experience we had during our brief stay and we are already making plans to return and stay.

We did view the accommodation whilst there and the new bungalows are well designed and all have a great view out into the bay.

If you are travelling to Santo and Aore Island this is the place to stay.

We went to Two Canoes for lunch. It was just a wonderful experience. The boat ride over was great and there was a definite "wow" factor on arrival.
The staff were so friendly (OK everyone is so friendly in Vanuatu) but we were made to feel so welcome and important.
The accommodation is quaint and the place just reeks of relaxation.
This is one of the must do's in Santo.

We went to 2 Canoes by boat from Ratua Island - and had an awesome lunch and plenty of lovely drinks including th espresso martinis to finish off.
Excellent fresh produce, lobsters, beef, fish cervice - all served in a cool and chilled out bar overlooking the sea.
The host Mark, showed us a great time and we will return to stay at the very cool, and groovey chalet accomdation - on stilts overlooking the beach, And boy was the breeze nice on that side!

If you feel like you need to get off the grid but unwind in comfort, this is a great spot. With just three villas (and only one more planned according to the owner so it stays small), and its remote location, the feeling of quiet is immediately striking. The resort is situated on a stretch of beach facing East so you can leave the blinds open in the morning to get sunrise streaming through into your villa. The bay is sheltered with the softest of currents and we spent hours taking out their water sports equipment (kayaks, paddle boards) floating around in dreamy solitude. The snorkling was also good with several great coral gardens and lots to see. There's food service on site with small but sufficient menu and a well stocked bar. The staff, locals, were lovely. Also, the area is known for great diving and we spent a magical half day exploring the shipwreck of the Coolidge nearby, organised by Aore Adventure Sports who are a short drive up the road and the staff were more than happy to shuttle us to and from. Highly recommended for a quiet holiday.

Came across the Two Canoes while on a pushbike ride. There was not another person there while I sat with a cold beer and looked out over the water.
