This hotel gives you the old time vibe, from the room to the restaurant to the decoration. Our room is clean, with kitchen area and living room, bedroom and bathroom(no bathtub). Breakfast buffet was served in the restaurant on the 1st floor and the food was ok - choices were traditional Venezuelan pabellón plate, no arepa due to the harina pan shortage in the country, and some fruits choices. If I have to stay in this hotel again, I would choose to not include breakfast and go to a local panadería across the street. View from the rooftop 360 restaurant is great.
I got to the hotel around 3.30 and was resting in the bedroom when I heard somebody opening the door. For being in one of the most dangerous city in the world, that was not a good feeling. It was the cleaning service lady thinking that the room needed to be clean. I would like to believe this was a management problem that did not update the room is occupied and has already been cleaned previously. The lady was nice and proceed to chat with me for about 15 minutes before going to get 2 additional pillows I requested. More
