So glad we booked this cottage. Lovely, cosy, very clean and everything we needed. Beautiful area with lots of walks. The owner was really hospitable and helpful. Hope to be able to return some day. Llanwrtyd Wells within easy walking dstance. People are friendly and there are pubs, restraunts, cafe shop. We want to Brecon fir a day and there are plenty f places to visit within the area.

The cottage was beautiful, stunning views and well equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms - 1 double (with ensuite), 1 twin, 1 single and family bathroom, plenty of space for 4/5 adults. The beds were super comfy and the linen, duvets and pillows all clean. The kitchen was great, always a concern when something is self catering but dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and the fabulous Rayburn. There were pots and pans galore and cutlery and various utensils available. The lounge was comfy and the log fire great to snuggle round in the evening. The views are stunning and took advantage of the location and did a 10km walk. There's a well stocked DVD collection, some board games, free wifi and no television or phone signal - perfect for some peace and quiet!! A great range of maps and info on the area is available which we utilised when on our walk as we would've ended up lost :-) Can't wait to go back to meet up with friends again as the prices were more than reasonable. Thank you for a great stay, Kim, Andrew, Tracey and Michaela!

Stayed in 'Troed Y Rhiw' - A Fantastic, fantastic & fantastic stay. Once again a delight - so clean & well equipped Roger & Kate were as usual enormously helpful hosts. The surrounding area was exceptional, lovely views & country walks, much laid back stay & an ideal way to welcome in the New Year. FANTASTIC!

Stayed here over New Year with friends, it's a lovely cottage that had everything we needed. Very well equipped from towels to washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The cottage stayed warm throughout with the log fire in the living room and the rayburn in the kitchen. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was scrupulously clean. There is a TV there but there is no reception for TV, mobiles or Internet which wasn't a big problem for us but we did miss the midnight fireworks on the TV! They do have a large library of dvds and books that you can use so that was thoughtful.
Overall, a really nice place to spend a peaceful couple of days!

Just returned from a week at Bronfelin. What a wonderful week we've had. Lots of lovely walks through streams, forests, up mountains and around rivers. Then to return to the cottage with its wood burner and rayburn cooker is just amazing the cottage is lovely and warm with everything you need. The fact that there is no internet or phone signal didnt matter to us and was a positive getting away from the grind of everyday life. Theres the village a short walk away with a shop and pubs, we went to the Neuaad Hotel for dinner one evening and the food was superb. The cottage owners Roger and Katie were very welcoming and friendly and gave us some good tips for walks with the children. I would recommend Bronfelin to friends and family and we'll certainly be returning.
