“Warm & Cosy inside & Amazing Landscapes Outside to Explore”
Reviewed 20 February 2018 for a stay in December 2017

The lodge is warm and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was frozen outside but lovely inside. The dogs loved the two fires and hikes straight from the door. The humans loved the bath and collecting fresh mussels from the beach. Collected supplies from inverness (Ullapool is limited) and spent Christmas eating, walking and playing trivial pursuits.

“Absolutely fantastic!”
Reviewed 19 November 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Runie Lodge is better than pictured! It has everything you could possibly need, set in some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. The river right outside the garden is great to play in after a day of exploring. Only a short distance from Ullapool with a variety of restaurants, shops and atmosphere. And we can't say enough about the hosts. Di and Rick are the best, from the goodies left in the lodge, knowledge and advice of the area, to the friendship. We can't wait to come back. We definitely give them 5 stars!

“Runie Lodge is a wonderful place to stay, in the middle of the beautyful Highlands nature.”
Reviewed 19 November 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The house is spacious, cosy, with a nice livingroom with fireplace, there is a lovely full equiped kitchen and upstairs 3 very beautyful bedrooms and a lovely bathroom. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. You have stunning view from all the rooms. You can do wonderful walks near the house, and driving around, you will be constantly amazed by the Highland mountains, the coast and the nearby isles.

“Brilliant”
Reviewed 16 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

It was my daughter and son in law’s first trip to Scotland. I was here in Ullapool to attend a four month art course and wanted them to understand why here and not Brighton, 20 minutes from home.
They got it!! We had a lovely stay and were warm and cosy and enjoyed being in such a lovely and well equipped house.

“Runie lodge...WOW”
Reviewed 2 June 2017 for a stay in April 2017

After a long long journey from Somerset. The idyllic cottage did the trick to help us unwind. All I can say is that it's the most comfortable cosy place we have ever stayed in. More well equipped than our own home!! With the advantage of the owner living next door nothing can go wrong. We went exploring from there and were never bored, the scenery is breathtaking as are the unspoilt beaches. Would like to return at some point as the kids get older.
