Both Peter and Roela were extremely welcoming and made sure we were able to get into our room very early.Room was spacious clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble and even served us some cold soft drinks on an extremely hot day. Both Peter and Roela have only been at the wereham for a few months but we wish them every success as they were excellent hosts.

We had an excellent stay at this lovely hotel, the new owners couldn't do enough for us.
The room was clean and fresh.
They stored our push bikes for us securely overnight and made a Fantastic breakfast !

Very nice stay for a couple of nights on business. Really good service - helpful and genuine family running it who have just taken over. Although rooms are a bit small at the moment, they have plans to do some knocking together to create bigger rooms. Really recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a bigger room

We stayed here for one night and, in the space of 24 hours, felt that we were part of the Family. Peter & Roella are the best hosts we have ever had anywhere and we left feeling part of the family!
Wereham House has 8 rooms, all on the second floor, and we have to say that, for Peter & Roella, nothing is too much trouble. We had a couple of minor problems that were quickly resolved.
The rooms were spotless ( we had 2), the beds excellent and the breakfasts superb
.
if you travel by car, you need to enter White Hart Street via Bridge Street. You need to find the Chase Public House & Restaurant and Bridge Street is on the opposite side of the road. It's about 200 yards from there, past the Bell inn and opposite the Thomas Paine Hotel. In between the Light Cinema and the Bell Inn there is a bench occupied by Captain Mainwaring ( Don't tell them your name Pike!). The Dads Army Museum is about 300 yards walk from the Wereham House and near the Red Lion ( Wetherspoons), which is very popular. You walk from Wereham House to the Bell Inn and turn left.
Wereham House has plenty of parking space. We're already thinking of our next trip.

The rooms have THIN BOARD walls and we were kept AWAKE ALL NIGHT BY NOISY GUESTS. Because the walls are board you can hear EVERYTHING (nice for PERVS though) Then noisy early morning BIN LORRIES topped it off. The TVs are cheap and tiny and you have to sit on top to view them (how do elderly & poor-sighted watch TV there ? ) Like the TELEVISION, The kettle is also TINY & CHEAP. It's a camping one that takes ages to boil. When I told the OWNERS about the noise, they said nothing and just GRINNED. ( instead of apologising or promising to do better, eg)
Also, was cold in room when I arrived and the female was obviously annoyed that I dared to say so. Altogether it was expensive considering all the faults and a SLEEPLESS NIGHTMARE thankfully only lasting one night as I would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Other Thetford Guest Houses are SO SUPERIOR , Thank God..

Room Tip: Impossible. I checked other walls and they all seem to be made of board. Ergo NOISY
