While on a group tour we were told that one of the hotels was actually a hostel and we were not happy about this until we got into our room and it was really good! The rooms were a good size, clean, comfortable, and with air conditioning that worked great in the heat. Wi-fi didn't quite reach our room so you had to sit on the hall stairs to get a signal and that was not convenient. There is no lobby to speak of and we had mixed experience with the staff. One person was super helpful and arranged to do some laundry for us at a great rate but when the laundry came back our whites were tinged blue! The desk person that helped us with this was less than supportive and didn't really care, said they normally don't do laundry for guests so what did we expect? That wasn't very nice but in the end they didn't charge us for the laundry anyway. But it was the rooms that were the star here. The location was also good, a mere 3-4 blocks from the old city and beach. If you just want a clean and comfortable place to sleep and aren't used to hostels you will be okay here but if you expect a rocking hostel where you can meet others and hook up this isn't it.

Room Tip: At least one of the ground floor rooms was handicapped equipped if needed!

The rooms was of good size, clean and nice. It was centrally located and the staff was very friendly and helpful. As in most Spanish hotels, you could hear noises easily but the street itself was very quiet and it was easy to find parking nearby.

Stayed here for two nights and beds were comfortable, shower was decent but hallways were a bit noisy which made for early mornings. Location was perfect for getting to the ferry terminal and/or exploring the town. There was lots of free street parking near the hotel which was ideal. Would stay here again.

This place should never be considered by anyone unless he or she is under 21 and backbacking through Spain and can't afford to stay in a hotel. I unfortunately was supposed to be on a tour with adults, and my room was across the hall from a large group of giggly, loud teenagers that I actually had to ask to please close their door. That helped with the noise, but not enough.

Hostel is easy to locate especially if you are driving as it is the first upon entering the city from the highway. Perfect location; just a few meters away from the main centre, ferry terminal and the beach. Room was very clean and equipped with tv. Staff were very helpful and friendly except one big sized guy who worked in the night shift during our stay who was quite rude and sarcastic. One female staff was very friendly and and recommended on beautiful places to visit in Tarifa which we did! :)

Room Tip: Choose a room on higher floors as the noises from the people in the streets at night especially dur...
