TL:DR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/ 5 Stars - only because the food needed to be kept warm, this is just me being picky though. Fanatic hotel, for a fantastic price.
We stayed here for a week on a shoulder season holiday and we were very pleased with this hotel. We have stayed in our share of horrifying hotels but this was far from it -especially for the value!
The reception is incredibly shiny and new, beautifully styled. This hotel is accomodating to those with disabilities and also hires people with disabilities, it’s so nice to see the inclusivity. Pet-friendly as well!
Our room was upgraded for free to a 10th floor sea view room. Beach front hotel with less than 30 second walk to the water. Our only fault here is that the corner rooms have an awkward “shared” balcony. This wasn’t an issue at all, until our neighbour moved in. We were placed in between two apartments who seemed to know each other and spent 2 days laughing/smoking/talking/drinking loudly across our balcony (practically in our room). When I approached reception about this though they were incredibly helpful and offered to change rooms for us at 10pm at night! We asked them just to tell the rowdy guests to respect the noise - but I really appreciate the hospitality and thought the staff here have for their guests.
Cleaning staff are so fantastic and very friendly. Every day for 5 days they left our room spotless and fresh for the night. It is so nice to come back to a room made up after exploring all day. By the last days of our trip they did not put the “decoration” on the bed - which saved us having to rip off the covers and pillows when we want to sleep - very thoughtful!
We stayed here with full board for the week, and we were pleasantly surprised with this. Breakfast and Dinner are served in a lovely dining room on the 1st Floor, as a buffet style meal. Our only fault for this would be that the food that is meant to be kept hot in the trays- was barely even warm. I believe if they have some Bain-Marie’s or turn on the hot plates under the food trays this would be perfect otherwise! The food cooked on demand on an evening Veal and Tuna, was absolutely perfect. Best fish I have ever tasted. The chef does not speak any English but that is fine - I can practise my Spanish.
Lunch is a set menu option downstairs in the Bar/Lobby seating area. We had this on the first day, personally I was not a fan of the chicken and the potatoes they served were not warm. We didn’t have lunch at the hotel again as we were too busy exploring - no complaints there.
All the customer facing staff had perfect English (I think these were the supervisors or managers), however we got to practise some creative Spanish with lower ranking staff. All of them friendly and happy to help.
