We are just back from a stay at the hotel. This could have easily been a 5* review, but for some issues.
Positive
-Fantastic service from front desk team (Suzana, Tina and the others) who organised a special birthday treat, lovely room and late checkout.
-Immaculate hotel, we loved the styling!
-Fantastic pool area, and infinty pool area
-Adequate breakfast
-Great views
-Trolley bus running to sea front

-Pool bar service. My first interaction was to ask for 2 towels and the older guy literally snatched the pool cards right of my hands without saying a word! My second interaction was to call over the waiter who was taking orders and delivering drinks around the ppol area, he said "one moment" but never came back. Third interaction was my partner going to the bar to buy drinks, she stood there for about 2 minutes while the staff just ignored her and talked amongst themselves, she said "Ola" a few times to eventually get their attention, someone came to her and said abruptly "We do not have any towels!", she replied "I'm here to order drinks".. We ordered the ham pizzas from the pool bar, they are supposed to come with cherry tomatoes and olive oil but came with neither, what arrived was a tasteless margarita pizza with a few pieces of burnt ham on it. On several occasions ordering large beers, they don't have the beer glasses clean so...We are just back from a stay at the hotel. This could have easily been a 5* review, but for some issues.

On the second day, we heard them telling other guests repeatably there were "no towels" despite the pool area not being that busy. There were quite a lot of plates and glasses not being collected during the day time attracting flies on both days we were there. Overall the pool bar service is terrible, it is like the staff have no customer service skills (maybe in the wrong job) and that there is no management there. It also seemed to me that the staff give a lot better service to the locals who whey happily chat and laugh with.
One other suggestion for improvement would be to add some more items to the med restaurant menu, as it was the only restaurant open during our stay and if you don't want a taxi down to the front you are a captive audience. It is more like a fine dining and seafood menu and we saw kids not wanting anything off the menu as they were looking for more general items like burgers, pizza, steak, curry etc
Overall, a great stay tainted by the shocking poo bar service.More
