We were married in South Africa, and on our return to Spain hosted a lunch at the beautiful Finca Eslava, one of our favorite places.

Our table for ten was beautifully presented, the food was excellent and the staff were attentive and extremely helpful. Everyone who attended was impressed with the ambience of the restaurant and of the lovely building in general.

We will have another lunch there soon, for those who were unable to join us this time.

A big thank you to everyone at the Finca Eslava, you are very special and we will always return for the wonderful food.

Room Tip: We did not stay overnight as we live close by, but may do so in the future.

Lovely old building that is typically Spanish. I stayed just for one night in March while travelling to another part of Spain. The room initially allocated was very dark and only had a small window, however after speaking to Reception we were move to another room with large balcony door that was much brighter. We both found the beds to be a bit hard. There was a safe in the room however it was not nailed down and could therefore be taken out of the room, not ideal!

We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was good and so was the service. Overall the staff were helpful.

One night stop over in this fantastic hotel in Feb 2017 , this hotel is one of the best I've stayed in the rooms are very big , nice hard wood floor very clean , and the furniture is a very high standard . The hotel facilities are fantastic , the bar area is very authentic spanish , the food as we were half board was very nicely cooked and plentiful with a choice of several dishes from the menu . Breakfast was a choice of continental or you could cook you're own bacon on a griddle . The staff were all very good . All in all a fabulous hotel

Situated just north of Antequera the hotel was well situated for exploring the town and the surrounding area. Beautiful traditional feel to the building with a lovely bar and restaurant. Free parking on-site. Spacious rooms and friendly staff.

We found an online offer that was too good to pass up on, and we were not disappointed.

The hotel is located ouside the city center so a car is a must. Not really the rural area you would expect from a finca: next to a busy road (no problem at all with noise) and with several industrial (olive oil) companies next door. You're close to the motorway leading to Malaga, Cordoba and Granada so you can use this hotel to see a large chunk of Andalucia.

Beautiful building. The entrance opens up to an indoor patio with the rooms surrounding it on several floors. We got a room on the second floor (elevator available). Despite having asked for a king size bed we got two single beds, but that was possibly because we checked in early and they gave us one of the few rooms already available. The rooms are fairly big, very clean and well thought-through. There is a tv (Spanish only), minibar/fridge, heating/air conditioning and an extra heater in the bathroom. The bathroom is big enough for two persons with an actual bath. The hairdryer however is one of those awfully old ones with a tube. No real extras, like a coffee station but my girlfriend, who likes her evening teas, was welcome to fetched hot water from the bar downstairs! Big thumbs-up for the housekeeping as well who did a brilliant job every day.

The breakfast was just ok with mixture of Spanish and international food: eggs and sausages, tomatoes, sweet pastry, cheese, jams, Spanish ham, yoghurts, fresh fruits... The guy who usually in charge of the beakfast is extremely punctual and is constantly filing the trays. The first day we even though we were the first ones to touch the buffet. One single remark: it's hard to find decent bread in Spain. We noticed from buying bread on several occassions and the bread in the hotel isn't super either.

The hotel does not really have its own swimming pool but they own a swimming pool/sauna complex next door. Our arrangement had an entrance to the spa included. Mind you: with only one sauna, a steam bath and a whirlpool with different massaging options, it's not a big spa but it will keep you busy for an hour or so. Unfortunately, you need a swimming cap, also for the whirlpool. They have them on sale for 4,50 euro.

The hotel has a bar and restaurant, but considering the alternatives the restaurant is relatively expensive.
