I've spent a short weekend at this hotel, from Saturday till Sunday. Anda Hotel is the perfect place to take a short trip out from Bucharest, just for escaping few hours from the bustled city.
It is a warm, welcoming hotel, it has an excellent location (downtown, across the street is the City Hall). Ideal for visiting the beautiful and interesting cultural attractions of Sinaia - Luminiș Villa, Sinaia Monastery, Ghica park, Peles Castle (in October, there is not so crowded entrance, as in the summer time).
The room is quite large, fine and comfortable, with a splendid mountain view from the balcony, very well heated. I was very satisfied to find that hotel has its own parking.

Located right on the main street, the hotel, although renovated, seems like a reminder from the not so distant past. The look is kitschy and strange, both inside the room and the hotel grounds. The room itself was pretty large (a suite perhaps), but the balcony door didn't close properly which was somewhat inconvenient since outside it was -15 C. The bathroom was just plain old and cheap. The personnel was polite enough, but cold, distant and eager to pre-authorise credit cards :-). It's a decent place to stay, but nothing more than that.
