Stayed in the presidential suite for my partners birthday, we were very pleased with the room and the view. We had dinner booked for 8pm in the bar. Menu was fine, basic bar food but very nice. Table service only, which is fine, but the presence of staff isn't what you would expect in a table service only scenario. I would expect to see someone every 8-10 minutes, but at one point we were an hour without seeing a member of staff (I had ordered a happy birthday dessert plate and we asked for a few minutes before we ordered dessert... By the time we saw another staff member it was 10 ó clock and the kitchen was closed). Drinks and cocktails were lovely and enjoyed the night, but was disappointed at the lack of staff presence.
The review would be a 'good' only for the spa saved it! I had booked two full body massages for Sunday afternoon, the 29th at 2pm. The massage I got was absolutely fantastic and like nothing I had ever experienced previously. I cannot remember the therapists name, but she was blonde, and I would like her to get the recognition she deserves out of this review! Hands down, she saved my overall experience and I would definitely consider being a regular visitor of the spa!More
