Sheila is a very nice hostess and the price was very reasonable (80 Euros/night). Even though it was a beautiful house, we thought the bed was extremely uncomfortable (springs were broken) and the light in my lamp didn’t work. The drive from Killyon to Navan was very short (about 2 minutes). Breakfast at Killyon was very good with a great assortment of fruit, cereals, and main dishes, and we sat in the sunroom overlooking the River Boyne --- I can see why it won the Best Breakfast Award from Georgina Campbell last year. Overall, I don’t know if we would stay at Killyon again --- while the house and the breakfast were great and Sheila was very sweet, the bed was uncomfortable.
