Stopped off on a trip to Mayo, greeted with a friendly warm welcome in the outdoor seating area. We had a beautiful breakfast which set us up lovely for the final leg of our trip. We had our rehearsal dinner in their function room last summer so the excellent food was no surprise. Definitely worth a stop, loads of space and feee parking.

We received a warm welcome and staff were very accommodating as we arrived early.
All the staff at this establishment have to be one of the friendliest we have stayed in. The Manager Thomas came and introduced himself to us and nothing was too much trouble.
The food is excellent
The rooms are spotless, spacious with telly, hairdryer, iron and tea and coffee facilities.
There is a large spacious car park which is free and hotel smack bang in the middle of the town.
Will only ever stay here when in Ballinasloe why stay anywhere else
I stayed at Gullanes from 11/13th September 2020. They hosted our 50th school reunion. Exceptional food, hospitality and service. Warm welcome, comfortable room and always went the extra mile to make our stay one to remember. Thank you Tom and all the gang forsaking it so worthwhile 😊
Went here for dinner last night with my husband and kids. The food is beautiful. I had the chowder for starters, roast beef for main and Mississippi mud pie for dessert - I could not move afterwards 😁. The restaurant is spotless and COVID regulations are definitely adhered to and enforced in the restaurant. The lady that looked after us was really friendly and a credit to the hotel. We will definitely be back!!
Stayed just one night with family. The hotel is in the middle of charming town. Good location, fantastic detailed service, clean and comfortable room with all the amenities you need. The restaurant serves excellent food in great atmosphere.
