We are just back from an amazing 2 night stay at the Shearwater Hotel, All staff were very helpful and accommodating, they couldn't have done enough for us and our 3 small children, Hotel is immaculately clean . The food is to the highest standard, We will definitely return very soon. Special shout out to Chloe for going above and beyond for making our stay extra special.

Just back from our stay in the shearwater ,this hotel is fantastic for a familly getaway. We stayed 3 nights on the summer package which included breakfast, a meal each day for the kids which could be eat at the kids club or in the bar with their parents which was great as our kids like to eat woth us and I like to know how much they are eating, one 2 course meal was also included for the adults on a night of your choice as well as a picnic on one of the days which was great we took ours to salthill and had a great day. The adjoining family rooms are more like a small apartment and contained a fridge which was very handy. We eat in the hotel every day and the food was excellent and good value considering we had our kids meals included. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ava on reception. The whole hotel was spick and span ,there was nothing to fault will definitely stay again soon

Nice hotel but very expensive. Booked 2 nights together. Night 1 was €179 night 2 was €256. At reception I asked if there was a deal for booking 2 nights and I was told ‘No’. I had stayed previously and reception knew this. However later when I was passing reception I heard the lady answering a call from someone looking to stay on the sun night and they were quoted €189 B&b so if I hadn’t booked 2 nights together I would have got a much cheaper rate for Sun night.I was very disappointed as they should look after those staying longer?? Also a packet of crisps is bar was €3. Never seen that before??
