Had never surfed before, these guys were really helpful organising everything and getting us out on the waves, really laid back and can help with anything. The lodgings have all the basics so no complaints there. thanks

From pulling into the car park, until we thanked them and left the staff were unbelievably friendly and made us feel welcome and part of the wonderfully relaxed life of the village. In spitting distance of bars, the shop and, of course, the picturesque beach.
This is not a luxury hotel, it is exactly the fun, clean and accessible accommodation to use as a base to explore South Donegal.

The surf lodge in Rossnowlagh is a place I just love going back to. It is the ideal place to hang out with fiends, relax and have the craic. You don't have to surf to stay here, which is lucky for me!

The atmosphere of the place is great. Perfect if you want to relax and surf. I took two lessons of surfing and I definitely will come back to try it again. Hostel is clean and just 1 min walk from the beach.

The task being a weekend of surfing! The surf lodge is right at the end of the path down to the beach. I stayed in a three-bed dorm, but I was the only one there. It is pretty sparse - a couple clothes hangers, one night stand, a bunk bed and a separate twin, but there is a black-out shade so you don't have to get up with the sun (4:30 this time of year) and I could see the ocean from the window. There seemed to be a fair number of showers and toilets, although if you are looking for a shower just as a lesson ends you will wait in line. There is a compact kitchen with a kettle and tea and wifi is available outside. Staff is helpful and kind.

Room Tip: If you are upstairs you might be able to see the ocean - from downstairs you will look at a grassy slope.
