Super hotel. We stayed in the Tara suite which had a gigantic four poster bed and a fantastic view over the bay and fishing fleet. Staff were friendly and food excellent - I’d recommend the sea bass :-)

The room was very comfortable but the staff were remarkable in their willingness to make sure everything was good for us. The room’s outlook over the harbour was delightful. Overall Tara hotel was our lucky find.

Stayed here for one night. Room very comfortable with good shower. Had dinner in the bar, this is the second time we’ve eaten here in the past few months, without a doubt this is one of the best sea food menus around. Strangely enough, fresh fish isn’t always served in this most marine of regions, some places seem to find it easier to manage with frozen fish, hard to understand! The food is exceptional for the prices charged, it’s really good to have fish properly cooked without being stodgy or smothered in over seasoned sauces. Even if you’re just passing through it’s well worth a stop.
Killybegs is really nice spot, given the sizes of the fishing boats it’s not quaint but there’s nothing nicer than a walk along the quays after an excellent dinner.

We were here on Mother's Day. We had a table at the window over looking the harbour which was lovely. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was great. The staff were friendly. The only slight problem was we were waiting on my baby's food to come out before ours and it didn't. But other than that top quality. Id highly recommend the chilli beef nachos for starters the nachos are homemade and unreal
