Overnight stay in Killybegs recently, the lady in the b&b recommended Melly's cafe for the fish and chips. We both had the breaded fish and chips, the fish was very good, cooked nice and crisp. However, the chips were a terrible let down, they were pale and undercooked, looked like they were frozen chips not cooked enough. It's a pity otherwise we'd have been happy with our meal. The restaurant was very busy as there was a festival on so maybe that was the reason. Lovely young girl served us and was very pleasant

Extensive menu, we ate here on a very popular night and the food and service were still both excellent. Good potions of fish and chips and tea and all excellent value.

Was a nice little cafe. Had a fish and chips and a seafood chowder and both were tasty and came out quickly.
