Attended a party today when entered my child's name was taken and she was given a wristband my child then entered playzone and was playing with friends for about 30mins when she was approached by member of staff and told she could not go back in as she was to tall I understand height restrictions if was told at start she was to tall but was very upset as she's 10yrs old and approached by an adult to stop her she got a fright and got very upset staff should of spoke to me as I'm the adult not the child it ruined party for other attendees as I had to leave party as my child was so upset staff should speak to adults as they don't know what needs r circumstances a child has
My girls aged 2 & 3 loved it so much they asked to go back as soon as we left! The space is modern, v clean, & there are child friendly staff observing the play frames. Having local produce including ice-cream is a nice. I would recommend & will return.
Had a party here yesterday and numerous times in the past. The advantage of allowing the kids to run around for a few hours in a generally quiet place which is unusual as you’d expect screaming kids, loud etc etc. The food is lovely. The pizza was amazing. Kids had a a great time.
We have been regular visitors for a year or two, this is our favourite indoor play area in Cork. Lots to do, always clean and the staff are great. We held our son's birthday party there yesterday and it was perfect, thanks to all at Kidzone.
We came here in January while we were visiting family in Ireland. It was very quiet, with only a few other kids there, so my kids (aged 6 and 4) had an absolute ball being able to go wherever they wanted. There was plenty of stuff to keep them busy from ball pits to slides to climbing areas to their favourite - the shooting things! It also looked spotlessly clean, unlike many of these kids of kids play areas, so that was a huge plus.
The only down side was the waiting area for the adults. We were absolutely frozen and had to leave our coats on the whole time. The seats were also hard plastic - not comfortable when you're sitting for an hour or two while the kids play. It was nice to have a little café - the coffee was decent and there was a selection of snacks (though it would have been nice to have some healthier options - all the chocolate, crisps etc on display is not great for the kids...).
Overall a great experience for the kids, but a bit less so for the adults.
We come here all the time with out 1 year old and he just loves it! Every Friday. The staff are super friendly and very helpfull and always keeping an eye on the kids. They offer a loyalty card too for a free pass to the play area when its full. Theres a cafe where you can get tea coffie cakes and icecream etc etc. Plenty of table to sit at all in view of the kids play area. Parents are also allowed into the play area with their kids if needed. Theres is also a seperate area for toddlers only. I would highly recommend this kidszone to any parent.
