I enjoyed the 2 nights. Received great information from the owner about things to do and places to eat outside the box. A little bit of a hike into town but on trolley line. Great screened in back porch and quiet neighborhood.

My husband and I were recently married in Eureka Springs Arkansas. We were looking for accomodations for the many family members and friends that would be arriving in the area. We decided to rent the entire Chantilly Lace Inn for our sons and my Maid of Honor. The 'Inn' which is a Victorian House set on the side of the many winding hills of the town, is a cute and well maintained house with 3 suites. Each Suite is different but all have access to a private screened in porch and the use of the front porch. All are decorated in period furniture and decoration. The 'double' suite we rented for my husbands sons had was two story, with a bedroom on the main floor and 3 beds in the upstairs 'bedroom', actually more of a huge room with play area for the children and sitting area, bath and view. The main floor had the double suite downstairs with parlor, dinning table and bedroom; and the other suite which had a bedroom and parlor. The downstairs suite had a small kitchen, bath and bedroom and again the screened in porch. Their is a door from the downstairs apartment into one of the upstairs suites, but it can be locked for privacy or opened if you rent the entire place and want the families to visit each other.

Susanne was very friendly and helpful in making sure my family's stay was comfortable and delightful. The entire place was clean and cheerful.

Highly recommended. Next time in Eureka Springs, hopefully Ralph and I will be able to stay there. Thank you Susanne.

Lin and Ralph, thank you for your review and positive comments on our Inn. Our only regret is that we did not get to meet the two of you! We hope the next time you are in Arkansas, we can make this happen. Congratulations on your wedding.

Warm regards,

Susane

We were in the 1 bedroom suite called Rannon's nest. The suite was perfectly clean, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was fine and the décor dated as we assumed it was meant to be. But there were a few things that we thought could be improved. The refreshment centre only included two tea cups and saucers and one mug - no glasses, only two tea bags for a two day stay. It was not possible to vary the heating in the suite as there was tape over the control preventing you doing this. The outside temperature during our second day fell, but the heating only came on very intermittently and the temperature in the suite had fallen to 66oF by the time we left. The screened back porch is shared with the suite next door whose occupants used it as a smoking area. I also backs directly onto the bathroom, making the bathroom feel a little less private than it should. We did notice a for sale sign outside the property. Walking distance from the centre of the town at a leisurely pace was about 20 minutes.

I was in the two bedroom suite known as the Chantilly Suite. I found the Inn to be very comfortable, clean, convenient and relaxing. It was exactly as shown on-line. The decor was charming in its Victorian theme, unlike some of the other lodgings that had that hotel look & feel. The owner was very friendly and helpful in recommendations and things to do around town. I also liked the privacy of our suites with private entrances and the space inside was like being in a small apartment and easy to get around. The screened in back porch was a pleasant surprise. What an enjoyable stay! We would recommend Chantilly Lace Inn and will be back.

Loved the charm of the Victorian decor at Chantilly. Really liked the closed in porch area. Definitely a step back in time in Eureka Springs. Walking distance to town. So peaceful and relaxing. Would recommend it to anyone. We had a wonderful time.
