During our time in Clarksville, Arkansas, this park was one of our favorite places to run away from home. It offers the largest playground in the city, 18 holes of disc golf, and paved trails for walking, running, or kids biking. The ball field is frequented by local little league teams. For a town of less than 10,000, Clarksville has benefited from the leadership of a progressive Parks & Recreation Director. So while there are other options in the area, this one is free, has very nice amenities, including a clean public restroom. In the summer months, it's just around the corner from a sno-cone stand!
