There on a crowded Friday lunch period, we waited about 15 minutes for our table of 4. Pleasant atmosphere looking out over the Bentonville town square. The food however, was very bland and at least one of our orders (pulled pork) didn't come out looking like any pulled pork we've ever seen (condiments and presentation were just weird); however, the wait staff said that's the way it's supposed to be. To their credit they gave us a credit on the ticket for it so I'll give them "E for effort"; however, overall, the food really wasn't as good as we'd been led to believe.

Great meal !!! Service was exceptionally slow, but the wait for the food was worth it.

The pork chop would have fed a family of 4. The mussels in the Tom Kaffe soup was delectable!!!

Pressroom is located on Bentonville square, which is a cool place to visit all by itself. The restaurant has the look and feel of a loft in an industrial building. Since it sits on a corner, two full walls are nothing but windows. Inside, the two story black industrial ceiling with exposed pipes and structural columns set the tone. Matte black accents and iron shelves add to the atmosphere. The central bar fills the room with seating all around it.

Service is okay. Everyone is polite and helpful, but it's slow. There are long wait times to get a seat. The wait for a server to arrive is long. Coffee and drinks were late or forgotten. Refills were far and few between. The food took almost 20 minutes from the time we ordered to when it arrived. Pressroom is not the place to be in a hurry. Onyx Coffee is right next door. It's a great option to kill time while you wait.

The food is wonderful. Every menu item is marked to let you know what's vegan and gluten friendly. My favorite dish was the Pressroom Granola. The coconut yogurt and roasted coconut shavings mixed with the honey, granola and fruit was just divine. The smooshed avocado toast (their words not mine) is nicely done with the cherry tomatoes and a touch of heat from red pepper flakes. The Press-trami Hash is interesting and different. It's not a traditional hash. I would say it's closer to a dry stew with large chunks of pastrami, potatoes and onions. Kudo's to the cook for getting the egg just right. It broke open and ran over the hash when the yolk was poked. Even the cucumber slice in the water pitcher made it refreshing and crisp. The sticky bun was good, but probably or least favorite item. The dough was a touch dry and the caramel drizzled over it was a little too chewy. It stuck to our teeth making it difficult to eat.

I really like Pressroom. We will be back. It's very good. If they fixed the service, I could see this being five stars that might make the higher prices a little more palatable.

The atmosphere was lively and friendly.
The Bloody Mary was well seasoned and delicious. The huevos rancheros were good. The service was attentive - not rushed which for Sunday Brunch was just right. I would recommend. There were many choices on the menu I’ll be back to try.
