For our first visit to Sedona we chose to stay at the Poco Diablo Resort. Located a bit south of the heart of Sedona yet still very close, we had the best of both worlds regarding location.

The resort is lovely and warm and very comfortable. They have tennis courts, a golf course, fitness center, spa, pool, and restaurant all on site! While we didn’t partake in the fitness amenities, we did dine at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The food is very diverse and very good (we loved the French Onion Grilled Cheese!!) and the staff was friendly and prompt. Great for those rainy days when you want to stay in.

The room was large and comfortable with a king bed! Tastefully decorated and clean. We had a patio room with a great view! As it was a bit chilly during our stay we were very glad to have the fireplace in the room to keep us warm and cozy. The only minus here was the pillow situation: there were plenty but all were extra soft!!! They need an array of firmness to suit all tastes.

The housekeeping staff was diligent and helpful when we had requests.

So, obviously we highly recommend the Poco Diablo Resort!! Can’t wait for our next visit!!

Great place for a romantic getaway. Room was spacious clean and cozy with great appointments like refer deck with comfy seating with a view of the golf course. Had a fire place and sheets were soft. Had some down pillows too.

The trip was handled by Premier World Discovery. We stayed at Poco Diablo. The resort was very nice. The personnel outgoing and frendly. Rooms were roomy, decorated with warm colors. There was a refrigerator and coffee, also plenty of water. The resort was very relaxing.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it is a very lovely, relaxing environment. We had an upgrade and the room had a wonderful view and a fireplace. The ladies at the front desk check-in were so helpful, especially the day manager. They went out of their way to make our trip memorable.
Let me say that I have a small service dog, 6 lbs. She goes everywhere with me. We had no problems with any restaurant in Sedona except the one in this Hotel. We ate here 4 times and 3 times there was no problem but the 4th night we were treated rudely, asked to sit outside or in a space away from main dining. I insisted she was a service animal and her credentials were on her with her harness states she is a service dog. They made her sit on the floor. My husband went to the room and got her a blanket and she ate her gourmet meal on it. I am so glad I did not have a seizure while she as away from me. After Judy seated us in the main dining room grudgingly,we decided we would eat on the patio so as not to disturb her more. The food was good but our last night was spoiled. I think had there been some communication before she said we couldn't sit in dining room, all could have been avoided. I would stay in this resort again but probably would not eat in the restaurant there.

Having said this I do realize there are health department laws in every state but as I have said this is the first time this has ever happed in over a year of traveling the US with Poppy.

Room Tip: We stayed in the suites and they were roomy with a view of the pond and golf course

We stayed at the resort during a 6 day vacation to Sedona and the surrounding areas. Check-in was quick and we stayed in a single room with 2 queen beds on the first floor a few steps from the pool and Jacuzzi. The room was large with a full bathroom and an extra sink area for two people to get ready in the morning…perfect for my wife and I. Room also contained a large desk area as well as a small refrigerator beneath a granite topped bar area.

The staff was excellent and very friendly. We had a full breakfast at the hotel every morning and dinner/cocktails on two nights. The food was very good and plentiful…and the "prickly pear" margaritas were very good!

We did not take advantage of many of the amenities such as the pool/Jacuzzi, fitness center, spa, tennis, golf and probably a few others I missed. Except for a bug in the bathroom that we easily resolved ourselves, our stay was excellent and would definitely stay there again.
