We were pleasantly surprised at the nice room we had since the price was so reasonable. The room was large and had a microwave and small fridge. It had an armoire to hang clothing. The king bed was ver comfortable. It even had a fake fireplace if you visit during cold months. It is nice to be away of the business of Sedona but close to it. Even though the room did not have a view the area is pretty. It is close to some restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our wood fired pizza from Rotten Johnny’s.

Timing became a critical factor for my trip to Sedona during a very busy time for tourists. The Desert Quail Inn offered reasonable rates for the week. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful and friendly. Due to Covid restrictions, I merely had to take out my trash and deposited soiled towels in an outdoor bin, but that was no problem whatsoever. The motel is convienently located by a very nice grocery store, Clark's, and eateries and coffee shops. The rooms were well insulated to allow a light sleeper like me to get some rest after long days in the field. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Pros: price, clean, good restaurant near, laundry, comfy room, nice people, fridge/microwave, grocery store nearby, restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: office is sometimes closed, motel vs hotel, noise from outside, no direct view of the red rocks.

Stayed at three different hotels during our week long AZ trip and the Desert Quail was the best. Clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price. The mattress was especially comfortable and the staff friendly. Highly recommend.

We stayed after deciding we wanted more time in Sedona. It took a bit to decide on a place but this location was great and not as busy as further north. Service was excellent and the owner was very helpful recommending places. Rooms were spotless, and had great sheets. Nice coffee makers, as well as a microwave and fridge. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub. Maybe next time.
