One of the most memorable parts of our first trip to Sedona (2015) was dinner at Rene. We couldn't wait to return. We repeated the escargot - best I have ever had and I also repeated the mushroom strudel which is unbelievably delicious. My husband had the duck and while it was a bit dry (which is one of the reasons I gave Rene a less than perfect score - the other was the tasteless lobster mousse but our waiter was quick to replace it with escargot), it had great flavor. Our friends had the rack of lamb and loved it. The desserts are not to be missed. Both visits we had the panacotta - so creamy and delicious. The wine menu is extensive and delightful. The wait staff is so attentive and accommodating. The ambience is elegant and cozy. Next visit to Sedona, we will mmost definitely return to Rene.
