Booked a one bedroom condo through airbnb for my husband and two teenage sons and I. Despite the power outage due to a storm, we enjoyed our time here. Beautiful location, each building had a pool nearby, the front desk was helpful, we would stay here again.

Lovely room - we stayed in the 'Sunset' section, but the noise above us was absolutely ridiculous. We could hear every footstep, every door opening and closing, every chair moving, and even the washing machine running above us. Would have been a MUCH nicer stay on the 2nd floor.

Some things in room were out of order, but maintenance responded quickly. Some furniture and cabinets looked well-used but were still acceptable and functional.

The west end of Sedona is not for everyone, but great if you like convenient hiking and less traffic. Ample parking - if not in front of the unit, street spaces were close. Rooms have full kitchen. Bathrooms are well appointed. Overall unit was very clean.

Room Tip: Get a top floor! 1st floor rooms are incredibly noisy.

During our 2nd day of visit, storm came and the facility electricity power was out from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Several guests and I walked up to the front desk, the only place had electricity, tried to find out power outage condition and see if they can do anything about it. The staff insisted power outage was thing in the past, and my unit shall have electricity; not knowing the front desk had electric generator running. the staffs did not even attempt to communicate property engineer to understand the situation, and definitely property management did not even contact local electric company. This was poor property management, and staffs were not properly trained handling and providing proper guidance to hundreds of guest on the property.
Moreover, request to change unit if the greasy smell when you first walk in. my unit has heavy greasy smell left from prior quests. I kept the AC fan running hourly during the stay, and window / door opened whenever possible. The stubborn greasy smell continued to stay. It was my big mistake did not request switch units when first walked in.

We stayed in room 145 in building 15. Room was mostly nice enough except for the worn out sofa. Floor plan is large enough for 3-4 people and it was mostly comfortable. The wifi is absolutely awful. When we complained to the front desk they told us that it was at total occupancy, so that is why wifi was terrible. So they took no responsibility to make it right either short term or long term. The resort is completely capable of upgrading their wifi so that it has enough power to serve all of their guests. Instead they blame the guests for creating demand on their system. This is unacceptable.

Room Tip: Bring your own wifi capability.

We stayed in a Sunset Suite and loved the location next to the Sunset Pool (best pool and hot tub on the property). The layout was perfect for our family of three with my son sleeping on the queen fold out sofa in the living room. Big, full bathroom and kitchen with a nice patio. Easy walk to trail heads for the area and not in the crush of crowds downtown. Great views! I found it easy to say no to the $100 voucher and sales pitch at check-in. We were never bothered at all by sales people our entire stay, but we also booked and paid through their hotel website so we did not get any discounts. Worth it for us.
I agree with the comment that there needs to at least be a coffee/ snack shop on site.

Room Tip: Upper floors - best views, but direct, hot sun. Lower floors -easy access to the pool & the sunlight is not hot during the afternoon.
