The location was fantastic. We had never been to Sedona. We looked online at various other resorts, but being Marriott Bonvoy member we checked out the places available, and it looked like a great place and close to all the hiking trails and walkable restaurants. From our arrival to departure, Patricia the front office supervisor was nice and accommodating. We were already alerted that our room and keys were ready via the app. But I called and asked for some extras for my husband and daughter and they were ready when we arrived. During Covid times, there are only 10 people permitted in pool and hot tub. Patricia and Carl did a great job managing that, making sure everyone got a chance to enjoy the huge pool and hot tub. The pool area is massive. There are also grills and outside tables to sit at. The bar is open in the evening too with lots of areas for people to spread out and socially distance. Masks are required at the property. The morning grab and go was great. They have an area where you go up and order from the lovely staff. They have milk/yogurt/hard boiled eggs/burritos/egg sandwiches/coffee/fruit/juice/cereal/bagels. The burritos and egg sandwiches you just take up to room and warm up.
We had a 1 bedroom suite. It has full kitchen--no oven but everything else you need.. stove/microwave full fridge with plates and dishes, bottle opener, pots pans. This was a holiday weekend with many having Martin Luther King day off on Jan 18th so there were many people out and about in Sedona especially with the nice weather. So surely during holidays it gets busier than during the week.
