Thank you for the review. We appreciate all of your input and advice. We do have heated pool but with the extreme temperature drops at night it can seem a bit cool. I hope you have a great day. Come see us again soon.

Thank you,
Saara

Stayed here over Thanksgiving time with kids. Definitely great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hotel itself is a little dated, but comfortable with all the basics nevertheless. Free breakfast buffet was better than average. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you travel with kids; if traveling solo or with another adult, I would go for something more luxurious.

Hello! It sounds like you and your family had a nice stay. Our shuttle is a great way to get to uptown Sedona or Tlaquepaque without having the stress of parking. Children love to climb into the shuttle and go for a ride. Please have a safe holiday season.

My Best,
Saara

Very great location close to air mesa overlook. Great views from room. We received free upgrade and the staffs over there are so friendly and helpful! Room is clean enough. The free breakfast is not fancy but ok.

Excellent customer service. Front desk staff was very attentive and cordial. Cozy lobby with fireplace and warm apple cider for guests. Daily breakfast had better variety than most free ones offered at motels. Didn't care much for the coffee which tasted burnt though.
Room was decent for our family of four. Could use another couple bedside tables other than just the one in the middle. Our room key didn't always work. Hotel location & layout was a challenge every time we ventured out into town and had to figure out how to get back to the room. Hotel is situated on a hill and has curved roads leading to the parking lot. A few signs would've helped. Also, there is no elevator in a 3 story facility? We saw some guests having to park on a slant after getting their car from the lot and wheel their luggage after checking out in the morning.
Views from the hotel are excellent and concierge helped us book a tour as well. Good location as far as proximity to local attractions and shops.

Room Tip: try and get a 3rd floor room which is really lobby level

Hi! Thank you for the review. We understand your frustration with the signage. Unfortunately due to city codes we are limited to the amount of signs we have now. It can make it hard to navigate. Ah...the elevator issue. Due to our hotel being built on a foundation of rock we were unable to install an elevator. We do our best to help guests on the lower levels which is why we have a bellman. We wish we had different options but we just don't. I hope you will come see us again the next time you are in Sedona.

Thank you,
Saara

We stayed here just prior to Thanksgiving. This is a unique hotel because it is built into the side of a hill. All of the rooms on the third floor have two entrances, one from the parking lot and one from the terrace. We specifically booked the 3rd level because it has great views and it is on the same level as the lobby and parking lot. If you stay on the lower levels you will have to go down stairs - try to book the 3rd floor if you can, it's worth the few extra dollars. I personally think the room that are in the same building as the lobby have a better view of the red rocks. Make sure to join their rewards program and you will be given a gift at check in of water and granola bars. They also had hot cider in the lobby when we were there.

The location of the hotel is perfect, it is on Airport road which has a great overlook and is where the vortex is. In addition, it is just a short drive (or free shuttle ride) to several grocery stores which would allow you to by food and pack lunch and save your money for a nice dinner each night. It is also a very short shuttle ride uptown where all the touristy shops and jeep tours are. The shuttle leaves every half hour and leaves you free to worry about where you will shop instead of where you will park. Also, if you get a chance drive down 89A to Dry Creek Road and just drive around. The views are absolutely stunning and not once in any of my research did I read anything about this drive. Just do it and take your camera.

The hotel room itself is on the small side but the beds were very comfortable and it had what we were looking for in a hotel. It had a fridge, microwave, and plenty of storage for clothes in drawers and a closet that is big enough for you to store your luggage. If we had to leave our luggage out in the room it would not have been easy to move around. We could also hear others as they walked by the room but it wasn't bad. We had room 303 which was the first room to the right of the lobby and it was perfect for us. The views were absolutely stunning! We were able to leave our 10 year old in the room watching TV while we enjoyed a quiet drink (bring your own) in the lobby where they have a cozy couch and fireplace. We could still still see our room entrance from there. The staff at the hotel were nice and very pleasant and I heard them interact with several guests so I believe this is how it is all of the time.

Finally, breakfast...it's free and includes real eggs, not the fake kind. When we were there each day there were two kinds of eggs. One scrambled and one scrambled with sausage or some other mix along with potatoes and two kinds of sausage links. If you don't want that, they also had a pancake maker and various cereals and breads. They had coffee and several juices as well. For those on here that complained about this, I personally think they were too picky. Yes, the breakfast is similar each day but the quality is good and it fills you up and it's real food with a real person making it. It was very busy when we were there and the girl working busted her butt each day to make sure food never ran out. If you want to eat out, go ahead but this breakfast was good enough for us and saved us at least $30 a day.

To conclude...I won't bother looking for other places next time we visit Sedona. This place is perfect for those who want a great view and nice accommodations.

Room Tip: Stay on the 3rd floor - in the same building as the lobby if you can. Those rooms have the best view.
