Very nice hotel with spectacular views. This is a hotel where you can really enjoy the grounds. Beautiful pool and a fire pit. They even have a nice deck with lots of seating, tables and heat lamps. We were only in Sedona for one night but wish we could have stayed longer.

As for the inside of the hotel, they have a very welcoming lobby and their restaurant (Bistro) has more to offer than their usual Bistro. Beds are comfy, lots of outlets including USB plus for all our gadgets. There’s also a fridge and microwave. We were upgraded to balcony view as an added bonus.

It’s a bit away from the town with all the shops and restaurants so not really walkable to much but that was fine with us. They are building a Residence Inn next door but we were lucky to not be disturbed by the construction noise.

Only downsides as a titanium lifetime member expected to check in early even if it was just an hour early being it was a Sunday and most people were checking out. Also hotel didn’t offer the late checkout.

Housekeepers weren't wearing masks even though front desk made a point to tell guests to wear masks. Rooms were comfortable but could have been cleaner in the bathroom. The hotel is about 4 years old. It's time to start deep cleaning some of the surfaces as well as around the caulking of the shower, etc. The best features are the pool and gym. They are on par with what some resorts.

The Courtyard Sedona is very good, especially compared against all the dumpy old Courtyards that seem to be everywhere.

There are considerable local touches in the design, both the exterior and the interior in places like the lobby. Even the wall art in my room was locally inspired as opposed to the cookie-cutter Courtyard decor.

However, the hotel with a nightly rate of around $400 is very expensive for what you get. For that kind of money, the food better should be better than the junk served in the Courtyard's bistro restaurant. At least the bar was fully stocked with a couple nice wines priced at $7-$11 per glass. The pool area is nice, but not worth $400 a night. Then there's the $18 parking fee for self-parking is highway robbery. This isn't a resort. There is no big, expensive underground parking garage to pay-off. The parking fee is a complete scam. If they could, they would probably charge a resort fee.

Beyond the choice of points or the $10 per person F&B credit, there was zero Marriott Bonvoy elite status recognition. I wasn't even offered a bottle of water. The front desk clerk told me I couldn't get upgraded because the other rooms "cost more money."

On the whole, this is a very good roadside Courtyard. If the rate was good, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. But at $400 per night, it's not worth it.

One of the newer hotels in Sedona area. There is Starbucks coffee and a bistro in the lobby for breakfast and dinner. The lobby has great sofa and lounging spots which was really important for us since we were working remotely. We had been traveling for 3 weeks and the front desk personnel was the sharpest and most enthusiastic that we had encountered on our trip. Well done, Marriott!

The location feels a bit far since it is at the furthest edge of West Sedona if you are coming from downtown Sedona - HOWEVER, we actually found most of the restaurants we wanted to go to were near us and all our hiking was south toward Oak Creek. The hotel actually sits at the beginning of the Upper Loop Road of a lovely scenic drive. Furthermore, downtown Sedona was a traffic nightmare.

We split our week in Sedona between Courtyard and Sedona Rouge. And definitely would have rather stayed at Courtyard for the whole trip!

Worth noting that there is a fee for overnight parking even for hotel guests.

This Courtyard by Marriott is spotlessly clean, and has a very welcoming and accommodating staff. The rooms are large with a small setting area, a large shower, and a balcony overlooking the pool. There is a third floor viewing area to see the amazing mountains of Sedona. It is our favorite place to stay in Sedona.
