Description: The Melting Pot Restaurant is where fun is cooked up fondue style. Romantic for Couples and Great in a Group. Our Ahwatukee restaurant is easily accessible from I-10. Take the "E Ray Road" exit off the I-10 and travel 2 miles west into the Ahwatukee Foothills. The modern yet warm casually elegant atmosphere sets the mood for a relaxing evening. The leisurely paced four-course experience begins with a cheese fondue prepared table side. A fresh salad follows while your entrée pot heats up. You’ll simmer a variety of tantalizing meats, seafood and vegetables. Each morsel is hot, fresh and delicious and all entrées are accompanied by an array of dipping sauces to add to the flavorful fun. Chocolate fondue is the finale, all served with decadent dippers. Most make reservations for the four-course dining experience but more than a few have stopped by to satisfy that cheese fondue or chocolate craving. Hand crafted cocktails and great wine list.

We hadn't been here for a few years, but chose The Melting Pot for an anniversary dinner and couldn't have made a better decision. First about the service...we arrived on time for our reservation and were seated promptly...our server Cassidy was friendly, efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Our interactions with other staff also made us feel welcome and "special." As to our meal, our cheese fondue appetizer, accompanied with a nice selection of breads, cake and veggies was delicious. The side salads served were ok, but nothing special. Our fondue meats (we chose the "build you own" option): filet, teriyaki steak and Old Bay-seasoned shrimp were of highest quality. The dessert, a chocolate caramel flambe fondue was positively sinful! To top things off, in
honor of our anniversary, we received a complimentary box of delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries. About the only negative in our dining experience was the piped-in music some of which seemed inappropriate for the setting. Our request to turn it down a bit was quickly honored. As stated, we made reservations, which is a good idea for this sort of establishment. We did it online, which also features their menu so you have have a good idea of what The Melting Pot has to offer. Yes the place is pricey, but it delivered the goods for the amount charged. It is possible that you might be able to find an occasional discount, however. Allow at least two hours for your dining experience. All in all, a truly memorable evening.

I love the Melting Pot and usually go to one of the other two locations in Phoenix but decided to visit this location. I had set reservations for 4 and we showed up half an hour early. We asked if we could be seated early and they said they would see. We waited until 10 min after our reservation time to be seated. During the time we were waiting Two parties left and no one entered. The restaurant was dead. No worries we were there to enjoy the evening. I know that this place takes a while for dinner. The main concern we had at this location was how slow the staff was and the amount of time we waited between courses. We waited for more than 30 min between the main course and desert and this is how the whole night was. In all we were in the restaurant almost 5 hours and other than the slowness the staff was also very inattentive.

I hadn’t been to The Melting Pot in several years. In the past the food was of good quality, the meat was fried in oil, the condition of the restaurant was great, and, it had the feel of fine dining. Now, the meat is of below average quality, it is BOILED, instead of fried (perhaps due to safety concerns) and the restaurant is dilapidated. The staff is friendly, however, far from professional. Our meal for two (with four drinks) was $205.00 with an 18% tip. The novelty isn’t enjoyable, or, worth the money. We’ve had much better meals at 20% of the price...

We took some friends to The Melting Pot for dinner in January. They'd never been to this restaurant and had never even enjoyed fondue. They were more than pleased.

The gentleman has food allergies so we were seated at a booth with two burners. This way we could order a meal that included seafood and wouldn't "contaminate" his fondue pot.

Service could have been a little faster, but we weren't in a hurry and expected a two hour experience.

To begin, we enjoyed a cheese fondue, split one entree (since we've found two to be too much) and had chocolate fondue for dessert. It was lovely. My only issue is that we ran out of both cheese and chocolate fondue while we still had goodies to dip.

You have got to be kidding me, our waiter Zach was the worst waiter, rude, spitting, pushy and condescending. Ruined it
