We stayed one night at Cherry Valley Ranch B&B in the casita "Casa Cereza" see exterior photo on their website. We were in that area checking out the conditions for astronomy purposes. The location of the BNB was not on the western side of Oracle and the casita was down in a gully therefore was not conducive for our astronomy purposes.
Regarding the main house, it has a long history and the rooms available there seemed very nice with nice views.
Breakfast in the main house was very good. It started off with a yogurt, granola and fruit cup, with some slices of pear and grapefruit and a small slice of banana bread on the side, as well as juice and bottomless coffee. The main course was a delicious french toast casserole with blueberries and a sausage with apples side dish. Both were very good.
The view from the breakfast room in the main house was fabulous and the hummingbirds were delightful.
The casita we stayed in was below the main house, very rustic and could use some updating and maintenance. (see picture).
Susan, the Innkeeper was very nice and accommodating in allowing us to set up our astronomy equipment.
The town of Oracle is very very small and remote, about an hour drive to Tucson. This BNB is as good as any in the area for those looking for a quite getaway in the high desert.
