Four of us stayed here for 2 nights (2 people in a casita and 2 in the ranch house) while we were in the area hiking and biking the Arizona Trail. Susan, the owner, was the most delightful hostess, extremely knowledgeable about the area's history, wildlife, recreation and natural attrations and was an excellent conversationalist, making everyone feel right at home. Her full breakfasts each day were absolutely awesome-the fruit was fresh and baked items were right out of the oven. We watched many varieties of birds from both the breakfast room window and the outside deck in the evening; we even saw a javelina. Our casita was perfectly accessorized with all items needed for cooking (which we did one night), had beautiful built in cabinets, plenty of fun whimsical ranch decor and a very comfortable and warm bed. Wi-fi worked in the main building and Susan was great with both e-mails and cell phone calls. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

This property is quite lovely and very very quiet. It's nestled into the foothills on the north side of Mt Lemmon, with oak scrub and grasslands. In the morning we awoke to birds chittering in the brush outside our window. We were in the area for a wine dinner and this was the perfect place to stay. Breakfast and conversation the next morning were wonderful!

Room Tip: I think next time we would stay in a room in the main house, rather than a casita, simply because it's closer to breakfast!!!

When I found this place on-line there was not much information available but something about it made me feel it was going to be a good choice. I was right. We stayed one night in a casita. It was warm, charming and inviting. The bed was amazingly comfortable. It is a good value for the money.
Our casita had a small but adequate kitchen and a small bathroom with a tiled shower. Every thing was very clean. Even though it is steps from the main house you feel isolated and you are have lots of privacy.
If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for quaint, comfortable, affordable, clean, maintained, private and quiet this is for you.
This place still maintains that Arizona charm from long ago. There is no TV and really no technology distractions. The views from the main house are beautiful of the surrounding mountains. Just outside is a patio; great for simping wine and watching a beautiful Arizona sunset.
The Inn Keeper is as sweet and friendly as she can be and is happy to greet you and make you feel right at home. The Ranch has been in her family for over 50 years. They are quietly and respectfully maintaining and sharing a gem of old Arizona in Oracle. You can tell there is lots of pride in running this place. I highly recommend staying here. It will be a place you will remember and want to go back to.

Room Tip: We saw two rooms in the main house. The King room has a seperate master shower and dressing area with a fireplace. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The casita we were is is below the main house and is private and comfortable. We did not see the second casita.

I had booked this B&B online without a lot of info but it was a great choice. We stayed in the Casa and it was a great experience. The main guest house is very nice but the cabin was beautifully isolated. It felt like a wilderness retreat with a gorgeous view of the rocky foothills rising right in front of the cabin.
Breakfast was a very nice experience with our hostess and chef being very friendly and helpful with information about the area and choices of hikes in the area. The food was very tasty and nicely presented as we watched the hummingbirds and other birds feed right outside the window.
The only caveat (and this was not a problem for us at all) is that the cabin could use a better heat source.
Don't be fooled by the exterior looks, this was a wonderful stay and a great value.

Room Tip: The cabins are great for couples seeking a private setting and the main house is very nice if you aren't looking for this level of privacy.

Finding a wonderful retreat location where I can enjoy peace and quiet is remarkable difficult in Arizona. Yet, when I found Cherry Valley Ranch, I knew that this was the place! With either bedrooms in the main house or casitas below, the area is isolated but still close enough to civilization to eat out, if desired. The owner is warm and charming. The price is reasonable. Accommodations are clean and lovely.

Room Tip: If you want isolation choose the casita. If you want the experience of a lovely arizona ranch house with lovely vista views, choose rooms at the house.
