perfect host for a short stay in Ushuaia. We specially loved the SPA place, sitting in the warm water and enjoying the surroundings. Food was excellent, service perfect and rooms clean with a nice view to the city and bay

Talk about the location, the view, the food or even the staff- this place was perfect! You can see the hotel on top of a hill from the town, its about 15 mins drive uphill but totally worth it. You have stunning views of the ocean, from up there. Take a stroll around the property or a dip in their pools. The food was excellent and the staff extremely helpful.
A special mention for Noelia from the F&B team, she looked after us and our needs with great care.

Room tip: Ask for the ocean view rooms

We stayed here before and after our Antarctic cruise. Arakur has an amazing location overlooking the Beagle Channel and the city of Ushuaia. The city itself is not much of a view but you get a great view of the dock and channel which is quite busy. Ask for a view.

The Hotel is amazing, great architecture and interior design. The breakfast is generous and the rooms spacious and luxuriously appointed. The staff are very helpful and all seem to speak English reasonably well.

There is an hourly shuttle into town. The shuttle is subject to availability and can be full especially if you go at 4:00pm when all the shops reopen after their siesta. We had to get a cab because the shuttle was full.

Arakur is a relaxing place to stay.. a sort of hidden paradise in the wilds of Patagonia. The restaurant is great, the pools and views amazing.. however given its remote location in relation to town - a guest laundry would be a great addition..
