Magic location. The infinity pool at sunset with the Antarctic wind whiping across your head - there are no words. The service was immaculate. The food and service in the restaurant is exceptional. Executive chef Sebastián Grimaldi and his team do a really great job. Normally I would not eat in a hotel restaurant but this one was fantastic. Easily the best hotel in Ushuaia.

This would be a 5 if the restaurant was better, food mediocre at best and restaurant staff training needs a bit of work. While the pool area is wonderful and has spectacular views, it is loud and no area restricted to adults. Children are playing everywhere including the hot tubs, therefore its noisy and not inviting if you want some zen time.
The rooms are nice and views beautiful, you really feel you are the end of the world.

Room tip: opt for rooms facing the city and the water.

If traveling to Ushuaia give yourself the treat of staying here! It is unbelievable in every way. The pools are a dream. The lobby is gorgeous. The rooms are amazing and modern with automatic curtains and do not disturb. The food in the restaurant is not over priced like all hotel restaurants. And room service is NOT more expensive than eating downstairs. And the food is amazing to boot. Best place I have ever stayed and it was painful to leave.

Very nice hotel and helpful staffs. This is where Leonardo DiCaprio stayed for his movie The Revenant. The best hotel in town. The pictures taken outside and from hotel. Three days should be enough to visit Ushuaia. I did an epic helicopter ride which was an amazing experience. The first picture you see is where the movie was made. I went in April 2016 and only now i am doing the review. It was very very cold but if you wrap up warm it should be fine. Ask the hotel for the taxi/guide Ruben who is an amazing guy he will take you to the best places for photoshoots. Do not forget to go to the End of the World and all the Lagunas for some photos. Ushuaia is beautiful when there is snow especially the forests and walking in the forest you feel the bliss if silence, dead everywhere, just words not enough to describe.
Arakur hotel room was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet huge and really nice. Dinner not sure i liked but i ate mostly at local restaurants. The spa i was not pleased with as the had to call a therapist to come and do the massage and i didnt like. The spa is one thing i was not happy about. But overall very good hotel.
