The bedroom was very small and clean (apart from grubby curtains), with just enough room to walk around the bed, and was simply decorated. Small bathroom with not enough room to put everything, but with an adequate shower. We had a partial lake view even though the hotel was facing “the wrong way” in the centre of town. The breakfast room was airy and spacious, but there was an over-reliance on very sweet pastries and cakes.
Check-in was over-officious, bureaucratic and tedious in that far more information was asked for than anywhere else we have been in Latin America , including age and occupation (the former was in our passports, the latter was none of their business). We were then confronted with an unexpected tourist tax of $45 (£1.60) per person per night and the Receptionist insisted on reading out a long list of hotel regulations, like a 1950s landlady, before we could go to our room.
As a final negative comment – you have to climb a flight of external stairs to reach the lobby; it was bad enough getting all the luggage up, but how would a disabled person cope?

Kenton Palace is just off the main square in Bariloche, and it is central to everything. Restaurants, main street, the lake, and everything else are just outside the door. Breakfast is served daily and the rooms are fairly standard. I found the cleaning staff to be incredibly noisy in the morning, and the desk staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful, but overall the location makes this hotel a good choice.
This hotel advertises a pool and spa but the hours are so limited I wasn't able to use either my entire stay. As with most places in this area of Patagonia wifi is spotty and unreliable.

Room tip: far from utility / maid's closet!

The rooms facing the street is a nightmare. Traffic is heavy until late night. In the weekend, there is a street party all night long.... Very loud, and lots of cars with loud music. We did not sleep until 3 am.

Cleaning is mediocre. One day we arrived to our room at 3 pm, only to find our untouched. When it was cleaned, we had to wait for towels until 6 pm.... they wash the old ones first, and then you get them back.

No linen on the pillows, forgot toilet paper, two hairdryer broke down to name a few examples.

Staff is friendly and some Welsh are spoken. Good wifi.

Breakfast was the same every day for five days. Pillows rock hard. Tv has only one English speaking channel.

No ac and no ceiling fan, so to hot to sleep.

Only upside is location, near some great restaurants.

Stayed for new years eve in this hotel. Staying was very confortable; hotel is clean, service is good and the best part is the location.
The street is quiet but it is only 1 block away from Civic Centre and Mitre street where there s a lot to do and see.
My only complain is about the bathroom, it could be better. After you take a shower, all bathroom is wet..

My family and I stayed at this hotel set up by the travel agency. They listed it as a 4 star hotel.
Hotel is clean, however the accommodations were very basic. Mattress was not not very comfortable. Business center was a desk with a chair.
The staff was hit or miss, some of the FD staff was really friendly and the other half sounded like they were doing us a favor just by answering questions.
Good location right in the middle of town.
