Don't be fooled by the foyer............it's all down hill from there.
You would only stay here if you really had to............like we did.
Unless of course we just happened to get the last room due to be refurbished.
Horrible dilapidated bathroom......nowhere to hang towels other than on a coat hanger in the similarly dilapidated wardrobe.
There was a safe...........but sadly permanently locked.
Doors to bathroom & wardrobe would not close.
Only accessible power point was in the bathroom above the pedestal hand basin which meant you had to rest ipad, camera, phone etc. on the edge of the sink for recharging.
Wood rot all around the bathroom and window sills.
Stuffy, mouldy smelling room even though there was an opening window.
Weekends appear to be crazy here, it seems visitors come from everywhere...........so book your accommodation early so as not to be disappointed.
Wifi only in downstairs foyer.
They did however serve a reasonable continental breakfast.
Before committing, check out the room first if you have the opportunity .

Reasonable price (10% more if paying by credit card), friendly and helpful front desk staff (many of whom speak English) and a very good location right in the centre of Bariloche. The room was a bit stuffy and the bathroom smelt of mold but at least it was nice and warm. The breakfast was bog standard artificial orange juice, preservative-filled croissants, etc. but then again it's only meant to be a 2 star hotel so it was as I expected. I would stay there again.

I arrived late at night in Bariloche and was referred to this hotel by the local service station. The hotel was initially reluctant to bother with a single traveller, as were many hotels I encountered in Argentina. The hotel accepted most cards and had a lift to the top floor where my room was. It was a simple room with small 2m sq bathroom with toilet and shower and handbasin, old but functional. The room had an adequate double bed and a well appointed cot for a baby. The window was well curtained to keep out street noise from below.
Breakfast was minimal, bread roll, orange juice and tea/ coffee.
Better missed for something nicer outside.

Room tip: A room away from the clunky old lift.
