We stayed here for one night for our visit to iguazu falls. The hotel is Nice, has a lobby with seating area. A good restaurant, But No space for hotel guest which should come first. There is Free WiFi But that Doesnt work in the room. Our room had 2 double beds And was spacious And clean. It has airco. The maintanance Could be a Little bit better; door handle falling off. There is a tv in the room but no phone or safe.
The pool area is nice. Staff is friendly.
Walking distance from restaurants in the village Centre and the busstation with loads of direct busses to iguazu.
Only cash payments possible.

This hotel was ok for my 3-night stay in Iguazú. The room was big enough for me and the bathroom was too, and had plenty of hot water. There are a few things that a hotel charging this amount of money need to offer to be better value - such as a bottle of water (having been told by the staff not the drink the tap water), a safe, a kettle etc. The bed sheets weren't particularly clean but the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff ranged from very friendly to quite cold. I've stayed in places in Argentina that are so friendly, so helpful and warm, and this stay felt quite functional. Still, it did the job and it is in a good location, and breakfast is fine (though note you have to pay extra for eggs). A little less of the being treated like a school child ('do not take away food from breakfast!') would be nice!

Would definitely not recommend this hotel. Although the exterior areas look ok the rooms are aweful: dated, with windows that do not all open, air con looked like it had not been cleaned in aged, door handle kept falling off, water instalation and pressure complete crap and on top of that the shower head was completely rusty-imagine washing with water coming from that. They put up signs in the room letting you know that if you stain the towels you will be charged-really?? The breakfast is very basic and you need to wait to get served from a somewhat poor selection of ham, cheese, jam, butter. If you are thinking of getting some eggs you need to pay extra- really? Eggs not included in standard breakfast offer? On top of this they only have one waitress for the whole hall- why don't you just make it a Swedish type breakfast? The staff is friendly, but not friendly enough to make this a good stay

This hotel is owned by the same family as Guest House Puerto Iguazu. We had a booking at the latter, but it appears to have closed down without ANY communication to cancel our reservation. After trying to contact the owner for two hours in the heat, we booked La Sorgente instead. We then found out it is owned by the same people so tried to speak to them to resolve the situation. We approached the front desk about this several times but they kept lying and saying they would get the owner for us, or that they couldn't contact them - changing the story each time. This is after them lying and saying they didn't even know the Guest House existed, even though they later confirmed the owner was the same!

So we ended up paying more for a hotel owned by the same people who messed us around, and no one would even speak to us. The staff lied constantly, the owner hid from us and there has still been no resolution. Even though the hotel itself is 'fine', I would never stay at such a cheating, untrustworthy place again.

We stayed here for 2 nights but several factors left a bad taste.
Our room smelt badly of mould. On inspection, there was mould in the bathroom, on the wall near the air conditioner and under the sink (which was in the bedroom).
The tiles were dug up on the walkway leading to our room without any notification or safety warnings. The noise was terrible. We had to drag our bags over the bridge over the swimming pool to check out. There was no offer of help to assist with bags to or from our room.
There were multiple negative signs warning guests what not to do.... "don't take food from the breakfast", "don't stain the towels or you'll be charged "etc.
The first night, we went out for dinner and returned to the hotel hoping to have a hot chocolate before bed. It was very cold outside. We inquired at the restaurant in the hotel and were told we had to have eaten there in order to sit at a table. We were given the option of sitting outside at the bar. We pointed out that it was too cold outside and requested a table inside as there were few people in the restaurant and many tables vacant and that we were guests at the hotel. They still refused. We decided that we would not be eating at the restaurant the following night as originally planned.
The breakfast was terrible. Bread was stale and croissants like bricks. Sour fruit. Requested a plate to eat off and was shown the pile of tea cup saucers!!!!
Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!
