Costa Iguazu is a beautiful boutique hotel located just a few blocks from the center of Iguazu, I want to Thank Viviana for her professionalism and kindness, she went out of her way to help me get a car rental even when all the companies were sold out, Viviana made our family trip a success.

Arrived late in the night and there were staff on front desk ready to help us check in. Staff speak great english and are really helpful. Think they have someone there all the time, which is good.

Lovely little gem of a hotel. Had one of the upstairs rooms with a double room, kitchen/living room and balcony. Everything was very clean and new.

You can catch a bus right outside which takes you to Iguazu Falls. There's also a taxi stand across the street.

Pool was so refreshing after a hot humid day at the falls.

When I booked it I was a bit apprehensive about the distance from the center, but it's actually only just under a 10 minute walk from loads of restaurants and bars. It was a higher spec than a lot of the hotels we'd seen right in the center and cheaper.

No complaints at all. Lovely service, nice and clean and what a great pool!

Overall a very relaxing, peaceful experience. There were four of us in our group, two couples so we stayed in a two bedroom suite. Overall a great value for the price as it was spacious. Very clean and the king beds were very comfortable. There was a living room with a couch, breakfast bar eating area and a VERY small kitchenette. There is no oven but an electrical two burner stove top appliance and a microwave. Dishes and utensils were provided but for cooking purposes we bought oil, salt, other essentials. The breakfast was surprisingly abundant for Argentinean standards and the personnel were very friendly and helpful. I never spoke English with them so I am not sure if the staff speaks English. They recommended great dining options and explained the town. The pool is lovely and peaceful, the hours are from 9am to 10pm. Both beach and pool towels are provided.

I thought the location was excellent, you could easily walk into the center of town, and just as easily to the three borders area of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. We felt very safe in the hotel, and there is a safe for valuables as well in the suite.

My biggest complaint is that credit cards are not accepted so you have to bring LOTS of cash if your stay is more than one night. We paid almost 6,000 pesos for three nights and had to make sure we were able to get that much cash. I could see that as a problem for someone not expecting to have to bring that much cash. The only other thing we noticed as unpleasant was a foul smell that for some reason was always present in the hotel room in the mornings. We tried to figure out where it was coming from to avoid it and never could solve the mystery :-) It always dissipated after the maid came. Cleaning services were very thorough and the maids were sweet and polite.

A side note unrelated to the hotel: Taxis are at "tourist" prices in Puerto Iguazu, aka much more expensive than other cities in Argentina. Be prepared to pay 260 Argentine Pesos for a taxi from the airport to the hotel, and another 200 to the park from the hotel, etc. I was bound and determined to take cheaper public transport (as I did that four years ago on my last trip to Iguazu) but everyone seemed to be pushing the taxis on us and we couldn't get a straight answer about public transport. Moral of the story, bring lots of cash for taxis as well. Food options in the town were plentiful and reasonably priced. Locals are very friendly!

Overall a wonderful experience, I would recommend this place to friends.

Very nice hotel with new interior and well maintain grounds. It was a great upgrade from the Brazil hotel we stayed in that cost the same rate. It is a suite style hotel with a livingroom, kitchenette, modern bathroom and bedroom. The location is about 10 minutes walk to town and 10 minutes walk (in the opposite direction) to Tres Fronteras . The area isn’t very appealing but it felt safe. There is a supermarket across and a liquor store nearby. The bus stop with buses that takes you to Iguazu Fall is in front of the liquor store. To go to airport, the hotel can arrange a shuttle that takes you to bus station to board airport bus. Be prepared with AR Pesos before you check-in. We didn’t have any so we paid with US dollars and was given the lousy Bank exchange rate. We late found a private cambio place in town that gave us exchange rate for 50% more.

Good service, though only in spanish, convenient location, walking distance to the restaurants, bus stop to Iguazu close to the hotel. Nice pool area, rooms spay and with AC.

Took a taxi to Foz do Iguazu to first drop our luggage at the hotel and then continued to the Falls, 500pesos, very easygoing traveling :)
