Poor low quality place in Palermo. It has a nice street seating that make you choose it. If you like it, have only a coffe

Siga La Vaca is one of my favorite restaurants. It is semi cafeteria style. You serve yourself salads and you choose what kind of grilled meat you want from the huge grill.
Then, you're assigned a table and you are served from then on. Each 2 persons get a bottle of wine and a bottle of mineral water.
Crazy busy, perfect place for those that are really hungry and enjoy steaks, meats of all kinds and up to a bottle of wine per person, all inclusive. You get dessert as well, as if you needed it; and a salad bar for those that need a healthy excuse. Great value, only drawback is the grill is self-service, so if you are hungry you get to get up several times during your meal.
When on a tight budget and want to experience the various cuts of Argentine beef, this is the place to go.
Inexpensive but the meat is very good. It is kind of a "self Serve". You grab a small tray and go up to a counter and order the cost you want. You can go as many times as you wish.
You can order french fries or other side dishes to accompany your cuts of beef.
You must try the Chorizo, Tapa de Cuadril, Vacio and Tira de Asado. They do have Bife de Chorizo ( a cut of NY Strip), however, it is not a regular item and you must ask for it.
All in all a great experience on a limited budget.
We loved this place, the food was amazing and we got a bottle of wine free with the table as well (we reserved in advance, when we got there the queue was really long so we would have had to wait a while if we hadn't). The total cost came to the equivalent of about €22 per person, including desserts (which were nice but kinda basic) which is great value for what you're getting, especially in this part of Buenos Aires.
