Description: A major social event in Argentina, the asado (an open-fire barbecue) marks a time when friends and family gather around a traditional outdoor fire pit and spend an afternoon catching up. It is as much about tradition and being together as it is about food. It all begins with the coal; made from hand-picked woods of local tree varietals, each one providing a unique flavour. Cooking whole animals is quite common at the asado, but there is always plenty of variety to choose from - embutidos, meats, red wine and salads. With a casual eclectic backyard esthetic, Nuestro Secreto transports guests to a "secret garden" urban retreat within a bustling cityscape. Typical courtyard decorations abound, with porous stone floors, the grill and clay oven, even a cross on the wall. Outdoor-style furniture made of wood, glass and iron lends an antique but fresh look. All of the tableware is made locally in Mendoza, with exclusive designs by Aji Diseno available for special occasions. What is most unique about this space, however, is that the roof and walls are made of glass and can be opened to create an entirely al fresco space, perfect for stargazing on clear nights. Our Sunday menu features a variety of dishes typically served among families on the weekend. And since our menu is designed to resemble the most-read newspaper in Buenos Aires, it will look to passersby like restaurant patrons are all relaxing with the Sunday paper.

Restaurant’s service is awesome. We arrived ~10min before it opened and stayed in the tables outside enjoying the atmosphere. There was a chance that could rain so our waiter Leonardo found a place for us inside and gently convinced us to change. This was the best he could have done since minutes after it started raining like crazy.
We got dishes explanation and recommendations, which ended being great!
We had Asado de tira it was delicious! It is greasy and they tell you up front, but the taste is really good.
The atmosphere is really nice, probably during he day it is more enjoyable since you could see through the glass windows and roof.

Everything cooked over coals, tasty and perfect. Service is excellent, although it is pricey. But like other restaurants, they have no interest in turning their tables so you can lounge all night. The vegetable dish was roasted root veggies that night and it was incredible: smoked and sweet! The restaurant is located outside by the pool with a greenhouse indoor portion in case of rain or cold (so go through the Four Seasons to first floor, through to pool and to the left). The big bonus was that the grounds house a wonderful cat named Misha, who quickly figured out we were cat lovers and graced us with her presence.

We went there for the Sunday brunch. At 1300 pesos it was expensive by Argentinian standards. But the price includes a bottle of wine per couple, sparkling wine, drinks and coffee. The food kept coming and coming so we ate till we were stuffed. Very creative appetisers, grilled offal (which I’m not a fan of, but our friends enjoyed it), and lots of meats. The dessert selection was amazing. You could ask for more of your favourite items.
Service was attentive and friendly.

Highly recommended.

When we checked into the Four Seasons, Nuestro Secroto was described as a a steak restaurant, and it is, but it also has the best salad I've ever had in BA. You can choose from a variety of lettuces, and over 30 other vegetables and cheeses, and a variety of dressings. If you're tired of ensalada mista, this is amazing. I also ordered the baby roast chicken. Had I known how big the salad was going to be, I would not have, but am so glad I did. It was actually 1/2 a roast chicken. The white meat was probably 2-3 degrees over temp, but the crunchy skin and flavor made up for it. Sprinkled with a little flaked salt, this was some of the best roast chicken I can remember eating.

My graduation gift to myself was to fly to Buenos Aires for a couple of days. Nuestro secreto was the first place on my list to have a cocktail.
