I wanted to stay at the Melia Recoleta and so glad I did. The hotel's location is perfect and within walking distance to the Cemetary and other points of interest. It's in a very safe and fashionable part of the city with two very good restaurants right down the street. The hotel has a unique history in that it was the one time residence of Eva Peron for two years (18742-1944) before she became First Lady. The best part was I stayed in Evita's Suite (41) which was a really nice way to spend the time there. The front staff is wonderful and very helpful...special thanks to Emmanuel who assisted me with the pickup from EZE and Max! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel at all! Breakfast buffet was delicious as was the dinner! Thank you all!

Very well located. Great eating area. Went to a very interesting market just 5 mins away, where I bought beautiful costume jewellery. Genuine stones.
Good idea to take a hop on hop off to visit the city. A few steps away from the hotel.
Amazing to have shared a piece of history since the hotel used to be Evita Peron’s house.
Live jazz night in the hotel itself. Good selection of breakfast. Friendly staff especially Facundo. Felt safe and good memories. Strongly recommend rooms 12 nd 32. Both were exactly like on this picture.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the street(hotel entrance)

From the moment we arrived we were impressed and totally happy with the choice we made. The entire staff especially Facundo and Max at the door were exceptional with their knowledge and advice about the city. The room was elegant and clean. The only complaint is that our room had no view but it was sacrificed for the Jacuzzi tub on the patio. Breakfast was great. A great variety, fresh, and mimosa if you request it. I wish had a hotel this nice everywhere we traveled. The terrace on the top floor was great to relax and get some fresh air. The "pool" was an oversized hot tub with cold water but it made a fifth star and a nice water feature I suppose. If I ever come back this will be my first choice.

Room Tip: I don't think they have a bad room here. If you want a window with a view you should specify at the desk and they will help you.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was relatively spacious, ( perhaps a little bit drab), good powerful shower, and the breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. Cereals, fruit, cooked food, variety of breads, cheeses, sweet things etc. They will make you a speciality coffee if you ask for one. Couple of options they charge for - omelettes and eggs benedict. The hotel is in a good location, near the cemetery, shops, bars, cafes etc. Also in a good position to walk to many of the attractions. NB - there is a good restaurant right next door called Fervor - it is busy and fairly expensive, but it is good. We used the terraced lounge area and plunge pool on the roof for a few hours one morning as we were exhausted from all the exploring we had done over the last 3 weeks in S America! that was an added bonus. The staff on reception were very helpful with any questions we had.

Loved staying at this beautiful hotel! The service is brilliant, staff assisted us in booking our tango shows with brilliant advice. Breakfast consisted of a wide spread. Location is good... we managed to walk around the district with no hassle. Easy to grab a cab to the different districts. Just a note the plumbing is shared therefore you can hear the water running between rooms.
Sad that I had to leave hope to return to this beautiful city!
